You are making delightful videos. When I was 21 (happy 70 now) I went to Inverness on a month long trip throughout the UK. The sun set there at 11 pm in July. I just roamed Scotland. I went to the Isle of Skye. Sweet. You speak with the most musical voice. Your videos are poetry. Thank you.
Thank you Molly! Such a nice cosy comfy video again ☺️. You inspired me with the book shop. Soon I’ll have one week off from work and will do all these activities as well! Greetings from Down Under 🐨☀️🌷
I’m books and bedding and currently on a buying bedding ban at the moment. I have tried to give myself a book ban but it doesn’t work! I love giving gifts and most ppl who receive them have loved them. I never expect gifts in return. Xx
@@SurfergirlKH sadly I’m not a fast reader but I may sort out a library card for more non fiction books I might want to borrow and my kindle helps also I don’t mind the clutter of books and have de clutter four-five bags of books x still got loads to read so really need to shop my bookcases xx
Aberfeldy looks like such a lovely place! And love the book reviews as always. Which quick granola recipe did you use? I can’t be bothered with all the faff.
I love these videos when you visit the little towns around you Molly. I’m in London but would love to visit some of these places, do you think they are all ok for solo female travel? I wouldn’t go into the woods on my own down here.
Oh it’s perfect for solo travellers. I live in the South but been travelling solo to Scotland for years. Aberfeldy is my absolute favourite place where I hope to move to one day permanently ❤
Love this type of vlog . Aberfeldy looks my type of place and would love to visit one day , not really visited that area of Scotland, more Western Scotland and East Lothian and Fife . Recently been to Arran , think you mentioned you may go soon to visit relatives? Great Island and lovely weather 🏴🌞
Love this kind of video Molly thank you for sharing, I love books, mugs, socks and plant pots and glass ornaments, we are a unique people, perhaps we should have our own Island called the Hermit Sanctuary.
Hi Molly, My husband and I visit Pitlochry a lot, we're only 1nhalf hrs away but I'll have to take a mental note to visit Aberfeldy too. It's lovely and I should spend time visiting it more. Thanks, Molly, see you next time.
Molly, I left a comment about an interview with Richard Osman which made me think of you and which I thought you might enjoy, but it's disappeared, so I assume YT took it down because I put a link in it. But if your interested, it was in Positive News (which is a really nice online magazine) and was called Life Lessons, Richard Osman on what life so far has taught him, and I thought it was really lovely!
I haven't been to Aberfeldy for years but I really want to go now! I'm attracted to the same kind of books so I must look out for the Hermit. Thank you for another great vlog, Molly.
I first heard about Rewitched on Darling Desi's A Cozy Practical Magic Early Fall Day (BTW, an amazing video). And then last week, I started seeing it in the local bookstores. I was like, yes, a sign! So I bought a copy ... lol.
Oh man, Aberfeldy is my favourite place in the world. You driving on A9 tugged at my heart. Miss it but will be there soon again. The milk bookshops is also the first place I always visit when there 😊The Birks in October and Perthshire generally is unmatched in the Autumn. I can’t rave about it enough. It is too green still right now but in a month time it will be covered in gold completely Hermit is a good read, recommend
Love that bookshop! (And the shop next door) It’s been a few years since I last went there so good to know that it’s still there! Really enjoyable vlog , thank you 🩷
This is so weird, I was just thinking about Aberfeldy this morning and the Watermill in particular (which is a huge draw for me - my favourite bookshop I think) and then your vlog popped up! Hermit sounds brilliant, I’m really looking forward to your review of it :)
Thank you for such a beautiful vlog,Molly! I was recently visiting the UK.. and i collected some autumnal treasures like leaves and acorns as souvenirs. A beautiful country❤
Your book "Hermit" sounds A LOT like the book to movie here in the U.S. called "Wild". You may enjoy that as it features the incredibly talented Resse Witherspoon :)
Me too regarding cards! I totally do it more than anyone else I know, but I enjoy picking them out and then when I don't keep them they don't stack up / I reaffirm my relationships. I'd love to go to Scotland. This day is my dream vacation day. Love from Iowa! I bet you'd like my little college town here.
Will be in Pitlochry in October again 🥰. Takes only two hours by train from Edinburgh instead of 3,5 hours to Aberfeldy (even though it’s close by)! But whatcha gonna do if you don’t drive on the wrong side of the road?! 😂
Hello Molly! Can't believe i just spotted on the shelf of the bookshop "the lovers" by Paolo Cognetti! (I do not agree with the title translation tough!) I recommend you this italian author, his stories take place in the italian Alps. His biggest success is the eight mountains, there is also a movie about this book!
Hi Molly, I am from the US, but was able to visit Edinburgh this summer, it’s a trip I won’t soon forget. My husband and I would like to retire in Scotland. Anyway, I was wondering about your accent, you don’t sound like David Tennant! Also, I just laid down my copy of The Thursday Murder Club to watch your video, I was excited to see you reading it too! I’m almost finished and I adore it!
I've never been to Aberfeldy but it looks like a place worth visiting 😊 I love the Thursday Murder club. I think there are 4 books in total. I've listened to 2 which I loved and read the third which I liked but not as much as I think the narrator really makes the books.
Hello! I recently discovered you and I can’t stop watching your videos. You have a nice and peaceful energy. Watching your videos makes me feel good, cozy and relax. Any recommendations for autumn ready for book set in Scotland? I live in London and a couple of years ago I went for a 20 days road trip around Scotland. I fall in love with the beautiful scenarios. 😍😍
I'm so glad you've enjoyed my content! I love 'The house between tides' by Sarah Maine. One of my favourite books and set in Scotland. I can't remember if its in autumn, but it definitely has those vibes!
Thank you for taking us along. We‘ll be driving up to Scotland next spring and i’ll be sure to stop at Aberfeldy. For the Birks but also for the shops. Hugs from France.
Thank you soo much for this video I really like it makes me calm and cozy , I have a question I've seen in you previous video that you have a belly bottom percing and I like to get one is it hurt or felt comfortable
What a lovely day out Molly ❤the Hermit looks right up my street too. Look forward to hearing what you think! I've been spending a lot of time in nature alone recently trying to cope with some trying times and it really is healing ❤ Also, a hot thermos of soup is just the perfect lunch for an autumn / winter walk 😊 xx
Wonderful video! Aberfeldy looks like my kind of place! Love your book videos and accompanying you into these great little shops and cafes, very cosy and autumnal. ❤❤
Hello!! Laura from Grangemouth here, loving all your vlogs. Binge watching them all. I started The Thursday Murder Club but I just didn’t get into it. I set myself a goal of 100 books this year, I’m only at 55 😞. Anyway, keep up the good work, love your journaling episodes and baking/cooking. All my favourite things and I have a collie too! X
You need to lower your goals 😂😂. My NYR was to read one book for every month of the year. I‘m at book 18 now! Not counting in the medical books I read for work and the cookbooks 😊! Keep up the reading 💪
Thank you for another inspiration! In october I will be in beloved Scotland again, going up to the north via Dalmally. Maybe it is a good idea to take a route via Aberfeldy. It looks so beautiful and cosy.
Hi Girl I saw the film of Edweard Muybridge who shot Sancho at the end of the Film but Edweard Muybridge really loved his wife so much he was dearly in love with her.
I haven't been to Aberfeldy for years but due to not driving I would have to check out the times of the buses to get there and back. Always lovely Molly to see you explore different areas of our beautiful country and have a lovely week ahead and sending love 💕 from Dundee.
