Three years ago in highschool, my girlfriend had broke up with me. I used to spend every lunch jogging/running just to get myself away from the places we would go to. I would play this song the whole time and waste all my phone data on it, but it was worth it. I love you Tyler, you saved me (I don't wanna get sappy right now but seriously).

I feel like people focus on his sexuality way to much rather than the over arching story of any of his works. "omg I told you tyler is gay" Like yeah... So what? This man is crafting a universe in his albums and all you can focus on is what kind of persons he find attractive? These albums are much deeper than that and I hope more people recognize that.
I think the fact his bisexual weights the same valeu as him eating a cockroach. As a musician, this shouldn't be first thing that comes to your mind when defining him and his works, although is nice to see him talk about it. Tyler is a musician who happens to be bi, it shouldn't be the contrary.

I love that people seem to agree that Igor is Tyler's best. I keep wanting to call it his Dark Side of the Moon. It's just such a cohesive colorful skillfull psychedelic concept album.

People think it's pink Floyd's best album. So he's saying he thinks Igor is Tyler's best album.
This song means so much to me, it fills me with so much nostalgia. I remember when this music video came out, I was on my first ever trip to the US and seeing the notification that Tyler posted a music video of my favorite song from IGOR filled me with so much joy and spent the entire trip listening to A BOY IS A GUN. Even after the trip, the song holds a special place in my heart for the comfort it brought me over personal situations. If 2019 was a song by choice, it would be this one

I'd say while Sorry not sorry is my favorite tyler music video for its meaning, this is definitely my favorite tyler music video because of the stylistic choices. Kinda gives off Wes Anderson/saltburn vibes.
its the fact that theres so many little details that put this entire thing together is just so amazing i come back to this video every once in a while just to watch it again and think how deep the true meaning to this song is knowing how tyler is singling about his ex and how his ex starts to love someone else instead while tyler is trying to get over the breakup and his ex moving with his ex and the video just makes it even better tbh with the green which means healing so it proves hes in pain from it
As the camera pans away in the end, toward the veranda overlooking the sea, you can see two suitcases that look alot like the ones the ex was carrying out. I wonder if that symbolizes the artifact pieces of him still left in Tyler's memory.
