My lurcher of 17 years died a few weeks ago.Ive now got a SALUKI from dog shelter.She is very gracious and light on her feet.Seems a lovely breed but I think you have to spend a lot of time with them to gain full trust and she seems very loyal to me even after a few days as I'm constantly with her and take her out 3 times every day.A true princess of a dog.

I believe greyhounds are the fastest in short races BUT in long races the Saluki will win everytime! GO SALUKI'S (SIU)!

??? Since when is greyhound racing banned? Are you confusing it with coursing (where a team of dogs go after a live hare)? Besides these dogs have been bred to run. That's what they're built for and what they have the desire to do.
