An excellent video which shows simple tips to follow to improve this aspect of painting and drawing. I remember getting some badly wrong, they looked like something from the film Inception! It just needs a little bit of planning, a thumbnail sketch first for example, to start the process of good composition and correct perspective.

I'm completely new to urban sketching and this was such a brilliant explanation of something I have been intimidated by (and which has put me off urban sketching despite wanting to do it!!). Thank you so much! Also, loved the Borrower's ref! It made me laugh, it will now be known as "Borrower's Perspective" to me!

This is a really beautiful video. I know quite a bit about perspective and drawing from a photo or imagination is manageable, but i find it incredible hard to draw in perspective on site.

As a painter and photographer, I use a tilt shift lens to eliminate or reduce the worms eye view effect. So I like to have my third vp either way high up off the page or nonexistent of the object isn't too tall.

Hi, great video. Very useful information. Just a curiosity, i recently saw another one of your videos (EASY Loose Sketch Technique | Ink & Watercolour) that inspired me to try to paint with line & wash. And i choosed a photo a have of the same house at 4:08 🤭If i hed seen this video before it might had been easier 🤭 thank you.
