This was already a really good summary, thank you so much! You really forget just how much happens behind the scenes... I'd love to see a second part, maybe with more male seiyuus (like the Namikawa Daisuke or Takahiro Sakurai scandals)
Sakurai was definitely the biggest disappointment for me. He had already came back from the plagiarism scandal and I genuinely thought he had turned a new leaf. Guess the only he learned was not to get caught.
@@cfcblue8 Same, he‘s one of my favorite seiyuus and it was quite the shock to hear about his scandals. In a very twisted way it was impressive how he could’ve hid an affair for a whole decade but for everyone involved it must’ve been horrible to know the truth.
I mean, I'm not going to be dating any of them so I'm always happy to hear any of them are dating/married/etc. It would be incredibly depressing if all of these talented, attractive, and usually very kind and wholesome people were all eternally single. Amita coming back was amazing, I still get emotional about it; this sort of happy ending is just so incredibly rare. If she _was_ pregnant, my only disappointment is she "couldn't" simply be public about it. _commits Emi Nitta's name to memory_ Ai Kayano deserves no hate :( About Miku Itou being "rude", obviously I don't know her personally, but I had the fortune of meeting her (and Hasshi) last summer, and she most definitely was not. Lines for autographs and the photo booth were nuts, but I managed an autograph from Hasshi and photo with Miku. The staff were running things... rather fast. You were in, pose, photo, out, in like...20 seconds? Maybe? It was understandable, but still, Miku herself definitely gave off the vibes that she felt bad about how crazy short and hectic it was for everyone; she absolutely had a tinge of "sorry it was so quick" in her eyes as she said/waved by on my way out, it was cute. (Hasshi was also incredibly kind and friendly, but this is already a long comment.)
I think Amita simply needed a break from entertainment industry. She had been a performer since she was 12 and stresses accumulated over the years eventually affected her (and performing for 2 Bushiroad franchises didn't help with that)
Ai Kayano went from getting lead roles in several animes every year to supporting roles in only few shows each year. At least she still has Konosuba. The controversy did affect her career unfortunately.
The whole thing by china is just a bullying tactic. If they took the war criminals out of the shrine and people went there people would still attack them for going, which is super normal to do in Japan as well and I been to a festival there as well. Twice this year Chinese people have defaced the shrine.
It is sad that Kayanon was attacked as there was nothing political in her visit to the shrine. Most Japanese are ignorant of the history of WW2 as it is not taught or discussed very much. She is sweet person who made an easy target of the CCP fanatics.
Bunshun's attempt on Pyon didn't have the effect that they expected. When Pyon openly did not deny these claims as per her twitter, all the fans congratulated her for being with SHiN. A year after the article they got married and as the video mentioned, she is now pregnant (Shes Month 7 early Month 8 now so she will be giving birth soon!)
No one really seemed to care when Ari Ozawa got married to Hige Driver back in 2020. I think a few of her fan boys got mad but the J-core community was super happy for Hige
Considering that you (not Host-sama, though you (Host-sama) probably already guessed that) have an almost minimal chance of dating a seiyuu or idol (especially if you don't know any Japanese), you should be glad that your "seiyuufu" has found happiness. And if it's with someone else in entertainment, so much the better (they at least in theory have compatible interests).
Are u goin to talk about Kokoro Conmect scandal too? The one regarding bullying of Mitsuhiru Ichiki by allegedly Hisako Kanemoto and Takuma Terashima is quite messed up And serios too resulted in bad Rating for the Anime despite Hisako And Takuma didn't really get any damage.
When you make a living off an industry so reliant on physical beauty and sex appeal, and one that openly and purposely targets the lonely male audience for most of its big money, it's only natural that those fans would expect a level of loyalty from the girls they follow. The men who follow aren't right for expecting that personal commitment from a financial transaction, but the women aren't right either for openly praying on that audience to pay their bills. I love idols but it's rooted in scumminess that goes both ways. Both parties are equally in the wrong when incidents like these happen.
How about those fans being mature enough to understand their feelings and have them live their own life? There are so many industries that relies on physical beauty and sex appeal, but I don't see these kind of issues that much there when compared to idol industry. Idk how they are wrong for expecting to have a life they values, when compared to these guys, who can't respect a person's feelings and move on instead of shaming them. Idol fandom is filled up with guys, who can't respect a person's boundaries and have them live a life they wanted to have. There's no need to blame the idols who acts to provide entertainment for these messed up fans.
@@sivaneshbalan898 They don’t provide entertainment to the hardcore base though. They provide companionship. And when people feel like that was betrayed, they turn on them, like you would in a real relationship.
@@natsukithegoddess They provide companionship like a friend, not like they are your lover. They are not even in a exclusive relationship with their hardcore fanbase. Heck, both the fanbase and the celebrities knew nothing about each other personally other than few details. No one with sane mind would think they are in a mutual relationship with someone they watch only on screen and in stage. No need to defend these deranged fanbase of the celebrities who are just showcasing their talent to people
@@sivaneshbalan898 If you watch this channel's recent videos, you'll see in one recently one of the Love Live seiyuu published a photobook intended to be pictures of her and the viewer out on dates, together as boyfriend and girlfriend. They absolutely pretend to be your lover, that's how they make so much money. If they made it obvious it was just as friends, the idol industry would be nowhere near as lucrative as it is.
I’m not super into Japanese idol culture, I’m only into love live, but I really enjoyed this video. I’d love to see more videos talking about dumb rumors and gossip surrounding idols. I’ve heard about the infamous Emi video but it is actually her? I don’t care and wouldn’t hold it against her but didn’t many love live fans get really upset?
@@kilrathblade7618 I’m removing your paragraph long comments because you’re being rude for no reason. I didn’t even mention the word “Aqours” once in the video. I showed a picture of Sunshine when I said “love live” just to represent the franchise as a whole. And I don’t care enough to argue. If you don’t like the video then dislike it & move on with your life dude.
@@ihaveproblemsandissues1060 oh don’t worry you did nothing wrong! It was some dude causing drama for no reason. I blocked him from the channel so we’re all good 🙏🏻
Don't quite a few singers around the world have tinnitus or other hearing issues? I know Pete Townshend of the Who has tinnitus. Just like black lung and coal miners, it seems like hearing problems is one of the inherent risks in a career in literally making loud noise.
Yea i’d imagine quite a few idols deal with hearing loss and tinnitus. It pretty much goes hand in hand with being a musician of any kind like you said with coal miners and black lung.
@@rizkyapriyanto3419 I’m pretty about that recently, because these info is too sensitive for us fan, more like, us fans wouldn’t know unless we get really close to them.
Eh I don't know. If you choose to have a certain image or purposely profit off of parasocial relationships, then shouldn't you expect to receive some sort of negative reactions from your fans once you get caught dating or announce your marriage news? It's not about celebs being human and blah blah blah. It's about scamming people and deceiving them. They're the ones who give you money and help pay your bills. They chose to support you, but not your lover. They never consented to giving money or you sharing money with your partner.
I feel that but at the same time. I purchase albums & photobooks from the girls because I like what they do. I’m not trying to date them nor do I get upset if they date other people. So when I see other people give them heck just for having a relationship It annoys me 🤷🏻♂️
If sharing your money means they have to work for you like a slave, then no need for your money. There are just entertainers who sing, dance, acts cute and poses in photoshoots. If you can't respect their personal boundaries, then don't be a fan. No one forces you to give your hard earned money to them. If you don't want your money to spend by them for their own life with their partner, then no need for your money. If you can't see entertainment as just an entertainment, then don't be a fan. Idk how they are "scammers" and "decieving" people, when they are dancing, singing and even providing their photos for the money. If you are thinking them like your gf or you are with a relationship with them like an incel, then it's a "you" problem, not them.
