Love this. From someone who now works in the Music Industry (my dream ❤)my first gig in 1987 was at Edinburgh playhouse... Meat Loaf.❤.. was right at the back of the Balcony, literally sitting on the last row. It was mind blowing. Such an amazing venue. Thank you for the memories dude ❤xxxx

Maybe 20 years ago, my sister was the sound engineer for Saturday Night Fever when it was on tour. When this came to Edinburgh , she got me tickets to the show but I also got a backstage tour before hand, met the cast, got to stand on the stage and play with all the props.

I used to live in a flat just below The Playhouse on Elm Row. I’ve seen a fair few bands and performers there.

Saw Peter Gabriel, Kraftwerk, David Byrne and others there. Also saw the occasional film back when they still did that.
