Hi, I want to thank you for all of your videos! I have no medical training but I have epilepsy and in a couple of months I’ll be in for video-EEG monitoring, which I've never done before. I’ve tried to learn everything I could over the years about my condition and tests and treatments but EEGs were something I never understood and couldn’t get doctors to explain any results. But after a few hours on your channel I learned so much. Of course medically there are still many of things I don’t understand and I’ll have to do a lot of reading but at least now when I’ll look at an EEG I won’t feel completely lost :) So thank you!
Posterior tibial nerve SSEPs are generated from between the Achilles tendon and medial malleolus bilaterally and recorded from the same scalp electrodes as median nerve SSEPs. They will have differing latencies due to the fact that there is a longer distance to travel to get to the sensory cortex. The other difference is that you are generating a response from the popliteal fossa instead of erbs point.
