Oriole fan here. I randomly decided to check the A L EAST standings two days ago,& to my surprise...noticed that the Sox were gaining serious ground. I told a buddy whose a big time Yanks fan,& he was shocked too. Idk how long Boston can keep this up,but a contending Boston team only makes the league that more intriguing. Huge at bats by Raffy, Dom, and Masa all played a huge part in that inning. You can tell Holmes was gassed by the time he got to Yoshida.

As a Yankee fan, I have come to accept the fact since last year that Boston OWNS the Yankees. With the current tailspin being suffered by New York, and the Red Sox on such a hot win streak, I sadly predict that the Yankees will be handed a three game sweep defeat at the hands of the Boston Bad Boys. The Sox just feel comfortable and confident when playing the Yankees.

Sox fan here, for a lot of us it’s hard to know how to feel about this team because ownership doesn’t seem like they want to win. I have been a fan my whole life and seeing them disrespect lester, mookie, and xander has driven me to the point of not wanting to spend money on a ticket. but when they beat the yankees like this it’s hard not to feel good

I remember going to Daisuke starts for the Sox as a kid and I had never seen the fans as excited for a pitcher. Red Sox fans aren't racist, they're highly critical of bad results and will love you forever for good results. Masa has shown the potential to be a great MLB player, but he hasn't realized it yet, so calling sox fans racist for being critical of a player like they are for literally every player is way too far.

I’m not American but I think Red Sox have been on good terms with Japanese players. Hideo Nomo pitched his second no-hitter with the Red Sox in 2001, the 2007 champion team had Daisuke Matsuzaka and Hideki Okajima, the 2013 champion team had Koji Uehara (who won the ALCS MVP) and Junichi Tazawa. 🧐

The view from Boston always seemed like Yankee fans were to hard on Cashman. But man this is what the 4th season that the Yanks started hot and have hit a tailspin? The Yankees are undergoing some sort of evaluation by an outside firm correct? There is some issue in NY on the management side that has to be addressed.
