I heavily relate to being destroyed by raging brachy, it took me 5 tries before I could beat him. I'm not sure if you knew this already or not but you can use watermoss/bomb pod slinger ammo to take off the red slime on brachy's head, tail and pounders if you're having trouble with that since it increases his damage, explosion speed and drop those annoying slime that ruins every combo in the game

With CB I found the savage axe playstyle against raging brachy much more effective, meaning evade window/extender and maybe power prolonger are good options. When dealing with his charging attack (the one where he puts his face down and charges towards you 3 times) he will always do 2 straight charges, so you can always dodge those by rolling to either side. But the third one he will always swipe to the side you're closest to at the end, so dodging sideways won't work. For the third charge instead, you can simply roll backwards away from him twice (only once with evade extender lvl3) and you're golden, since he stops for the swipe fairly early.

When doing the floral quest, instead of going to gathering hub, go to camp and restart there. saves loading time for area...

tbh if you're running guard up to block the unblockables, its always automatic rule of at least running guard 3. Raging Brach is a big boi, which means BIG heavy pushback. Look at how you were basically stun locked even though you executed the guardpoint well. Same applies for other unblockables when blocking with guard up, unblockable hits, which should be giving you the hint that these are big moves, better be running the equivalent guard levels or be pushback/stunned forever

Honestly you're playing fine, so I would just go for guard 5 on your current build so that your knocked back less, take less chip damage from blocking, and have more opportunities for damage. Thanks for the series, its been a fun watch so far.

I know youre long past raging brachy by now, but when I fought him I used the shara CB with a mixed set of Zorah and Damascus gear, combined with vitality mantle and full blast resist. 20 fire reist base, artillery 5, vitality mantle, and I had enough slots for at least health boost 2, great stuff :D

Raging brachy is easy if you use an insect glaive with Devine blessing, 20 fire res and blast res while never touching the floor. It may take 40 mins tho

Alex, maybe it's time to go for that G. Rathian 2 piece. Divine Blessing 5 is very good for survivability, if you wanna keep running CB. Also, just FYI, if you already don't know, build guides don't usually post a guide for all elements, when its just swapping the jewels to the corresponding element. Big oofs against raging boi and excited for the next episodes!

I was actually pretty surprised when I first fought him, it was like I was doing less damage than usual with lance and when I was in it’s final phase, I was really scared so I basically guarded for most of the fight since I didn’t know when he was gonna roar and go kaboom but DAMN THE MUSIC IS SO GOOD IN THE FINAL PHASE. 9/10 very cool challenge :D Also, I would definitely love to see gogmazios and harudomerugu in mh6 as they are some of my fav monsters, also they have BANGER music :D Also also, I actually like the design of Safi since at first it was a unknown and mysterious being then grown into a generic dragon like fatalis, and also because of it’s amazing theme, understandable opinion tho. 9/10 would play WITH friends, solo is eh :D (Dunno if the questions already been answered but, are you gonna do Safi or no?)

Funny I was just farming jewels and got a steadfast4 while only getting 1 deco per mission which is painful since I just got to brachydios and need blast res jewels and I’m struggling finding a way to grind jewels

I never had problems with raging brachy, don't know that he is such a hard fight for others, guess I'm just not the type to use combos heavy weapon that prone to get damaged from his explosion. Rajang and alatreon on the other hand, those are my nightmares

my friends built fatalis up so much and I got there and it was the goofy looking long neck dragon that lumbered around and used these slow swipes that did 80% of my hp until he decides hes the optional final boss and nukes the arena for a few seconds then goes back to the same boring slow physical attacks until the next phase up. overall didnt really enjoy the fight it felt like I got stat checked

Yeah idk how you play with mouse and keyboard lol but I’ve been a console gamer since I was little and started mh in 4u so the controls are ingrained in my brain so I suppose it’s the same for you and mouse in keyboard? I played mouse and keyboard in genshin for my cousin and it was the most frustrating thing I did with a pc

Should try again with CB and take it slower, one of my biggest problems facing Raging Brachydios was i kept rushing to finish the fights and hit him constantly which put me in bad positions. Dont forget you bave 50min

1 minute in the the video and just gunna say based off of others comments, raging brachy a bitch. BUT spamming pitfall when hes enraged is the easiest way to beat him with CB. guard 5 and guard up is also a must for countering him. beotodus CB is the best Ice CB in the game besides kjarr. antiblast is also a must, or 2 antiblast + coal for a faster clear for farming his broken CB armor set. Artillery 5 isnt really worth it unless youre doing element SAED spam, but coal is just as good if not better overall. 84 damage a phial with artillery is REALLLLY BAD. id recommend Ice attack 6 with Ice charm. guard 5, guard up, artillery 3, beo CB, antiblast 3, magazine, focus 3, and rocksteady. spam pitfall during his enraged mode. you can go get more when hes changing areas.

And to think, you didn't even get to the end phase. Raging Brachy is definitely one of the monsters of all time. I had to totally reconfigure my build when I first fought him (went from CB to HBG (not using F.Rajang Sticky meta, I despise the meta personally cuz it's boring.))
