Honestly I love these videos 😭 I feel like so many sims pack reviews are just full of bullshitting people it’s so refreshing

My Wedding Stories is closer to a luxury party. If they had labeled it Luxury Party I bet it would actually been well received as a stuff pack.

1:49 I found some CC where someone converted one of the dresses and in the description they said it seemed more appropriate for kids and I kind of agree. Some kids really love sparkles.

This video is longer than the amount of gameplay time in this pack 😂 well done!

Last time I was this early, EA made 12 item stuff packs.

Me: Hm, I'm decorating a luxury mansion in the game right now. I'm pretty sure I at least used the ottoman from this pack. [Checks packs used in build...] Me: Oh. Well, at least I got it for free.

not defending this pack, but if you google 'luxury party fashion' there literally is awfully metallic clothing. 😂

I would ok with this being a kit. I never understood the fashion of this pack to be honest. This looks alike an idea that Influencer would have to wear to party and not luxury party.

i bought it just for the buffet tables. ive used the clothing, not much of anything else. i use the buffet table, especially in homes with a full house, it really helps for leftovers.

Pretty sure toddlers didn't exist when this pack came out.

2:58 Actually the bench is pretty useful. I came across a tutorial for making something and the bench works perfectly for it. Looks better when used in that tutorial, because it because a cushioned seat in a wall.

I make generous use of the feminine suit in this pack, I love using it for my business orientated Sims who wanna look a bit hotter

The sparkly table has made many a poor simple home a happier place.

I use the shoes in this pack all the time. As well as the hair.

Instead of releaing the Party Essentials, it would have made more sense to release the objects in a refresh of Luxury Party SP. I would also love a mixology skill improvement

Heh, i have this pack. In my defence i got it to make up a bundle when there were literally no other options (I've been playing a long time). I never realised the buffet table existed!!

I only bought this pack back in the day for the buffet table. Now that other packs have a buffet table, there's no point in buying this. If you're new to the game just don't waste your money. There's way better packs to spend your money on

i love this pack because it was free :'DDD but seriously, i like 2-3 of the dresses. the rest... LOL. it was free, that's the nicest thing i can say about that.

Yer right the only thing I ever use from that pack is the Buffet Table BUT I use mods to improve it so uh yeeeah there's that :P

I think I got lux for free a year ago maybe on Origin? Anyways, I have used the wavey lamp a whole 1 time in a water build.... where I used it inside pools to look like glowing seaweed.... otherwise, the curtain in a kids room or a stripclub is sometimes cute ...lol

The only reason I got this pack was because I had an old laptop and had the legacy edition and couldn't get anything new for a while, so I just got whatever was available.

You should be hired as the ideas man for Sims 4, cause man do they need a new one. I feel like the game would be a lot more interesting (without the intense need for mods) with more of your ideas implemented.

I might be commenting a tad bit too early (i'm only like 3 minutes in) but i have to slightly knock you for one part of one complaint. i know that most stuff is made for teens and older. Kids were forgotten but technically toddlers weren't.....cause they didn't exist back then. i forgot at what point they got added to the game but i know it was pretty recent when we look at how long this game has been out

EA just needs to hire you as a Sims consultant

Just realised Sims 4 Luxury Party is giving Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff but Sims 2 is still way better bc you can have actual rooms with it not just random party objects

this stuff pack came out a little before my birthday but it's my LEAST favourite stuff pack compared to all the other stuff packs😅😅

I kinda feel EA is going to set this pack as free in the near future. They did it with My First Pet Stuff...soooo. I am still waiting.

Its worth noting that this pack came out at a point where buffet tables/drinks fountains werent a thing and way before My Wedding Stories/High School Years were way way off the ideas table. Not excusing it. Agree its a terrible stuff pack and if anything enforces how it jist doesnt work to hold popular items hostage to an SP.

What a missed opportunity to bring back the table/counter dancing from the Sims 3.

Wow, this is the first time I 100% agree with everything satch says about a pack. Before it's been always like part agreed part bot. But holy butts, luxury party truly is terrible almost entirely if not entirely

I actually like this pack. It works well as accessory to "Get Famous".

It's so sad like 1. you're giving them free ideas to improve it and 2. they won't listen even like this like we are begging these people to make bare-minimum acceptable content for what used to be one of the cutest most fun games. Whatever

But ... but... did we just see every sim pick up their food or beverage and SIT DOWN AT THE SAME TABLE??????? What witchery is this?

To be fair, this was the very first Stuff Pack for Sims 4 and maybe EA and Maxis did not know where to go with them. It was cheaper than Sims 3 SPs, which often contained just stuff (and usually not that many, anyway) and little to no gameplay, for the price they now set for Game Packs, which were bigger and brought gameplay elements, so they probably thought they could get away with this. Fortunately, after the first few abysmal SPs, they improved them a lot and even brought interesting gameplay to them, which we didn't see with SPs before. So, I can tell, if Sims 4 improved something from previous iterations, SPs definitely were that. They were cheaper but more interesting due to gameplay options. But we had to survive the first few SPs that were worse than what Sims 3 brought in SPs (though, admittedly, still cheaper). I can't believe I am actually defending EA and Maxis here, but those are the facts.

Most of this stuff looks tacky, like what a 13 yr old would think in the 2000s is party stuff. Also as far as I can remember you can prank the fountain.

It was already bad 10 years ago. We were all clueless.

If you play on PC, there are tonnes of CC that is MUCH BETTER than this monstrosity

I don't like the most of the clothes in this pack. Looks very tacky. The suits are atrocious. That stripe gown is ugly.
