A Brutally Honest Review: UChicago's Woodlawn Dorm

I went pretty hard on the editing this week, so this video took a little longer than expected, lol. It’s all good. I just submitted a SOSC essay on Jean-Jacques Rousseau and his would-be philosophy on the Haitian Revolution. Fun times… But hey, now that it’s over I can actually enjoy Thanksgiving Break.
Having just moved out of Woodlawn Residential Commons with the intention to stay gone (at home) for all of the winter quarter, my experience of living in UChicago’s newest dorm has been on my mind. These are all of my thoughts on it summed up in one video.
Whether it's move-in day to move-out day, Woodlawn is a weird place, so enjoy seeing it from my perspective. I promise to be as brutally honest as possible.

Same thing with I-House, high-key ridiculous. Housing is scared of stains, I guess. Perhaps for the better, lmao.

Wait is there no storage at all or is that only for this year?

Not at all -- There is no basement so nowhere to put things... In fact, I've even heard that I-House summer storage might close permanently because people are just leaving their stuff there and not coming back for it. That's just a rumor though.

Actually -- not anymore. My year, that was an option. Since then, The College has switched to randomized assignments (partially because many people weren't getting even their top 3).
