A.C.E - 2020 Guide + "Empty Space" (James Arthur Cover) | REACTION 

I had to do a double take when I saw the title cause I was not expecting any a.c.e related videos lol thank u so much for appreciating them, they’re my absolute favorite group so I love seeing more people get to know them! I hope one day we won’t have to call them ‘underrated’ and they’ll get the attention they deserve (also thank u to the person who requested these!)

Their cover of Shawn mendes- in my blood and 5SOS- Youngblood is perfection and highlights their vocals.

The guy in the Empty Space cover whose voice you liked so much is Donghun (but you probably already know that). His vocal is very versatile and emotive (and yes, just as you said very rich and full thanks to his lower pitched tone)...and has pliable timbre. For sure one of the most mature and technically refined voices in K-POP . He's got not only an excellent musical awareness but also never fails to touch our hearts with his interpretation and vocalisation. Putting that aside , they whole group is beyond brilliant in terms of vocals and dancing skills ...so I really do recommend to check out their other covers, MVs, live Mdromeda and KCON performances ! A.C.E are 'monster performers' ,their skill and dedication to arts is mind blowing . Best of the best ,highest quality ! Thank you for the reaction , I appreciate it !

I see that you have discovered the treasure that is a.c.e covers. Ofc now we are all excited for you to check out someone you loved and youngblook aka the 2 most iconic a.c.e covers. Also idk how familiar you are with their dancing but their dance covers are also mind boggling and they even have freestyle videos on their channel and their own choreos so I just feel like you will really really like a.c.e and I hope we get to see them a lot more on this channel ^^

Awesome! Thank you to those Patrons! I've had that Empty Space cover on my list of eventual requests for a long time. I love Donghun's voice as well. He recently did a live cover of Driver's License with just him playing piano and singing, it's beautiful. And Jun's Reaction Master videos are also on my eventual list, the best ones being the last ones he did with BK and Donghun individually. These guys really do deserve more love.

Literally A.C.E. is a group that I listen to a playlist I have of their covers more than I do other groups original music, lol, but seriously their covers are usually better than the original, especially when they cover solo artists and the harmonies that come so naturally as breathing to them makes them so much better

Literally every cover A.C.E have done is AMAZING. Definitely recommend checking out more!! I especially hope you check out their In My Blood and Someone You Loved covers.

Aces covers are amazing its completely enough for someone new to fall into them, it doesnt matter how many times i watch them it makes me cry everytime for how perfect they are

A.C.E's vocal covers are amazing and, they've done great covers of girl group songs on their own channel and on the Mdromeda. They've covered Blackpink and Twice on multiple occasions. My favorite vocal covers from them are IU's Love Poem (A.C.E's vocal line), Empty Space, Lewis Capaldi's Someone You Loved and Chan did a great cover of Vixx member Hyuk's song Boy with a Star.

I would also like to recommend you to check out their other covers like love poem or someone you loved! They have one of the best vocals not only in kpop 😊

I got into A.C.E when they debuted and I really liked Cactus and Callin' but I was kind of surprised too when I found out how good they are as vocalists. As you've seen they have done many different sounds but pretty much all of their title tracks have been hard hitting in some way, and from a marketing perspective I understand that it's smart to have a consistent "personality" to the group but it's kind of the same situation with Dreamcatcher or Ateez where it also has the downside of limiting some peoples' perceptions of the group as well. I think that, like those other groups I mentioned, the title tracks are only a fraction of the group's identity. Another part of the problem is that kpop has become such a big thing the past 10 or so years, the industry is so over-saturated with groups and if a group or artist has any kind of traction in the industry they are typically having 2+ comebacks a year, not to mention Japanese releases, variety shows, competitions etc. No matter how much of a multi stan you are it's just a lot, and obviously the groups that are going to fall through the cracks the most are the ones people simply never hear about, or the ones that people just don't think will appeal to them because what they have seen so far has given them what seems like a clear impression of the group's sound, but is not truly indicative of their whole identity. There's so many factors, it is just a tough puzzle for ceos and managers, especially a small company, to try to navigate. But A.C.E has been my favourite boy group for a couple years now so even though their fandom is growing slowly I am glad to see that with each comeback more and more people are taking the time to see all their different sides. Anyway, sorry for the novel but I'm really glad you liked the cover 😅 Next month I have a band I'd like to introduce you to but after that I'd love to continue helping your A.C.E journey along since you seem to be really interested in them now and what else they have to offer.

A lot of people here have been suggesting the 2 most legendary covers of A.C.E which are someone you loved and Youngblood so I'll recommend another one lol. Bad from Bk and Chan, In my blood, and love poem. 6:59 I went from laughing so hard seeing that Chan said he's really energetic cuz of all the tangerines that he eats to being totally shocked and wowed hearing that he has a camera app, like what??!
