This A/C for some reason was not working lets see if we can find the problem. I did test the generators not to long ago and this A/C seemed to not like it to much. This could have been the problem.
Contactor some times you can ohm the 24v coil but usually I find it’s the wires running to condenser . There should be extra in the sleeve going outside just switch out the colors and “bam” good to go
@@geoffhoweth Thank You. I thought maybe that's what is contributing to the Musty smell in my rooms. We keep ours closed too. Matter of fact, I noticed the factory screw is still on the majority of them. Any idea what's causing the smell and how to stop it? Thank You.
@@joeguilfoyle1922 T o get rid of the smell clean the whole unit's coils. Drag the unit out of the wall using a furniture dolly to make it easy. Then hose the thing down but try not to get any water on the control board. You can also clean the blower in the output vent by hosing that down as well it should not hurt it just wait about and hour after. But the front coil and the blower Might be the problem for your smell
@@geoffhoweth Thank You. I noticed water build up in the tray. We have anti-mildew things that look like big pills that we're supposed to put in the tray, but my GM says that we pay someone to come and clean them all and says we shouldn't clean them. But then bitches that our guests are complaining about the smell. I figured they all needed to be cleaned and possibly adjusted so the water runs out the back. But i'm not sure since she doesn't want us to mess with them. We just replace them when they break. I might take one out and clean it anyway. Any idea how to recycle the old ones. Isn't there people who buy them for the copper or something?
