The photo-documentary and painting exhibition dedicated to the making of the feature film Experimentul Pitesti, signed by director Victoria Baltag, containes s selection of 250 photos from over 6,000 is on display documenting a decade of work devoted to making this history film, started in 2011. The feature film presents one of the most horrifying experiments of emotional and physical mutilation through torture of the communist regime, known as the "Pitesti Experiment".
The photos are exhibited in the Media Foyer of TNB where we also find the installation of artist Nora Cupcencu, an installation called 'Inferno' which talks about pain, change, growth and development. Her themes maches the re-education phenomenon happened in Romania in between 1948-1952,known as the Pitesti experiment. Nora explains in a very careful matter the representation of her installation, with details of the real experiment visually presented in Pitesti Experiment Film.
