Love Nina a lot. This song is awesome and the video SO sharp and class. Reminder of the 70's, with that lovely flair of hers. Love A Camp and Cardigans and LOVE Sweden :)
NIce thing! I really really like it, great song, nice colours, nice smiling, I was afraid of the new material, but now I am just plain happy and looking forward to 30 more years of good music.
The new album is fantastic. If you loved the first, there's a good chance you'll love this too. This one seems even more diverse in styles. It's different, but feels familiar at the same time. Hard to have a favourite song, they're all pretty awesome. 'The Crowning' is another one of those killer Nina-album openers though, and I love 'It's not easy to be human' a lot too and the duet 'Golden Teeth and Silver Medals'. Thanks, Nina! You're wonderful. Go get it everyone!
Nina Perrson is awesome, and I truly truly dig A Camp. This song recently has gained a whole further meaning to me, as I am living just exactly what it's depicted in it. Makes this beautiful song, obviously, even more beautiful now to me. Great music.
Allt jag hörde var "Don't you know love is stronger than jesus, don't you know love is stronger than jesus"
this is the most beautiful and complete anthem about love that I can recall. Imma gonna sing it like "we r the champions"... except not and people will be like 'woah, hey, that song is awesome!'. Cheers if you think good songs are good. Love, Canada
Holy crap ... "A Camp" is coming to my Favorite club ... 14 miles away from where I live. Nina, honey ... I'll be at the show ... you'll know it's me because I'll be the boy with a dreamy look of wistful satisfaction on his face.
After getting past the pop sound, and listened to the words, I like this much more now. Releases sometimes have to be radio-friendly to make the dollars, but I'm hoping braver music will be on the rest of the album to match the great lyrics and tone!
When i first listen to the song i said....(terrible)....second time was: not bad... and now (and certanly not only thind)i just love it, i think it's kind of addiction, Can't wait to get the album Cheers nina.
Can you do anything that isn't incredible? You've got this way of such linear tones to create these very moving melodies that some times aren't moving at all, but somehow they are. Like a helicopter hovering, moving ever so slightly and then all at once it's off and gone. I am looking for you in Nashville, TN and the surrounding areas.
Ninjaamaster ..Beast.. You know that beast is a "thing", reguraly a animal which is considererd extremely dangerous/strong.. But it can also be a nickname for strong/dangerous humans. You know in NHL, I've heard alot of ppl say "Nr. 12 in x-team is very good, he is a beast". Och till din svenska, herregud, det här är en av den* bästa låten* jag har hört *= GÅ SVENSKA 2 FÖRIHELVETE!!!!!
I liked the video, it's sober and simple and she looks beautiful with that dress, i think you have to undestand the meaning of the video to like it and the video it's perfect for that song
It is quite possible that not everyone understand what shes means with this song, however, i can understand that using the name jesus here could possibly make the song popular, going by the sensitivity people attach to being or not being a christian. i only wonder if she would get more popular, if she had said love is stronger than mohammed
@TrummBandLomm Yes, in a way it does and it really came up to me the other day! Since she's singing "Belgians burning in the Kongo sun".. And why do you think the albums's title is "Colonia"? Belgium colonized Kongo in the 16th century, they also tried to brainwash them with christianity and brutal slavery. She's points out that religion has always caused problems in this world but LOVE is the global force that always had and will unite us, no matter who we are or where we live
I think she was meaning a powerful, EMOTIONAL blast, an impact. ...not orgasmic... but then again... it's left pretty open. she's not one to limit meanings. I had no idea "Feathers and Down" was about a alcoholic friend. I thought it was just about depression. It's all in how you relate... so you're never wrong... unless SHE says so! lol...
i heard three other songs that difer greatly from this one. i hope there's some nice upbeat songs like this i there too. this one has been stuck in my head for about a week now ^_^
@GoodNyheter Seriously? I hope that your comment was a joke. The song is about love and how we should be careful with WHO we love. There are people who will break your heart and you should be careful before trusting and loving a stranger. Love stands above everything else, including war, diseases and religion. That's what the song is about. And if you believe in Jesus, wasn't that the message he wanted to spread? That love stands above it all and that we should cherish it?
Hi, just so you know im Jesus and i dont normally do this but you all seem rather confused about this song. I am a way of life. be nice be thoughtfull, jesus and God(dad) are just a few of many good ways to live. I am nothing without love, you see im in love and its great. This is a great song and the truth so everyone chill out love is far stronger than me . Ill see ya all in church on sunday im off to see if i can help with the earthquake in Haiti. Jx
För att den eviga tv-reklamen har irriterat mig till den gräns att jag var tvungen att höra om hela låten var lika irriterande. Jag är lite utav en självplågare ^^
Great Song, nice lyric, superb arrangement, big beautiful hair, bra by Howard Hughes? and a guitarist who tries a little too hard, bless 'im. Love it, Bravo!!! But don't expect to clean up in Vatican City.
This is the other band where nina sings, I prefer the cardigans but I must recognized that nina it's amazig by itself, I don't know how old this video is but I think taht it was made to look like 60's type, think its froma couple of years ago maybe 3 or 2
