A Canal Cruise in Paris 

Hello from Kansas! Those are some very clean looking canals! No floating trash and not a lot of graffiti. They must take their canals seriously. Most of the boats look well maintained too! Thanks!

I enjoyed this one. A few years ago in Paris we bought a three day pass for the bateau bus. It never went into the locks, just up and down the main built up area, but it was a beautiful and restful ride and useful too, for getting us to where we wanted to go. It worked a lot like a hop on hop off bus. This brought back fond memories and also a little incentive to get back to Paris.

Alright I'm definitely putting the canals in the UK. On my bucket list. Oh and don't sell yourself short. We've all seen you handle a boat. Over here in the states some people can't drive a boat on a big lake. You do just fine on a narrow canal.
