@meade916 good shit bro mastermind when it comes to clean installs, fine tuning or upgrading I bought a dd1 back in 2016 and it’s been working great no problems always accurate until a couple days ago, I just got my new salt8 amp and I probed the wire as usual but this time the tip on the red lead got stuck in the wire and separated now it’s not working. Where can I get a new set of leads I’ve checked amazon but they only sell the whole kit?

This is what I love about Steve. Dude doesn’t do ANYTHING halfway. Somebody has something that isn’t up to snuff, he would rather give them tons of gear for free and see them fixed up proper than let them leave with the wrong situation. So generous. I admire anyone with a giving spirit.

Damn.... he is truly hooking him the feck up. I mean... I know it’s probably sponsored by the manufacturers n all that... or they donated speakers... and Steve showed them off... how how they are literally double the speaker.. in a literal and figurative way. That’s really nice of Steve to use this guys car as content. Got to advertise some speakers, let the guy install them, etc... Steve gave him the stuff he COULD DO, or helped him a lot and didn’t let him sink.... kinda brilliant.... hung the carrot juuuust far enough away to get some good progress and learning. Way to go!!!

Man I really wish more shops operated like yours. I live in Kansas where the shops overcharge and do crap work. I do my own installs but I also end up fixing the mess these shops make. My entire system was just stolen but I'll be back bumpin in no time. They destroyed my truck but I'll fix it

I'm picking up 2 15" fosgates in box today for $30. It's a ported enclosure and they're old school punch series. It will be a minute on the other components. I just couldn't pass this deal up.

@@jeffshearer5125 I was running a Rockville phenom fx5 with a 12" dual 4 kicker in a qbomb box. Had just installed it with a pioneer deh5010bt a week before. It was power hungry and my alternator was my next upgrade. They left my wiring but ripped it out of the lugs. I'll fix it during installing my next version of the system

Probably both lol. A trick i learned way back is to keep space between whatever the amp is mounted to with spacers. Also big 3 and upgraded wiring so the amp doesn't have to work as hard. Hope that helps

just a suggestion. make sure he can still get the lid of his air cleaner off with that fuse block on it and let him know to connect all power to the battery last to lessen the chances of popping fuses. rip to that nissan once everything is hooked up and set right because its going to destroy it lol. awesome shit man

i just put a skar evl 12 d2 with a 1500.1d in my 2020 civic si sedan! i installed it myself used ofc wire and a lc2i! didnt want to make a amp rack since car is leased so the amp on the box... thankfully my stock high mid speaker amp is loud enough to shine. i just need to upgrade the stock speakers now.

He has the same amp that I have to push a Massive Audio Hippo122. I think his wires touched because the power inputs are 4ga compared to the 1/0 he tried to put in. I had to bore out the inputs just a little to fit wire ferrules.
