You follow nothing but conjectures, and you do nothing but surmise.’ (148) قُل فَلِلَّهِ الحُجَّةُ البالِغَةُ ۖ فَلَو شاءَ لَهَداكُم أَجمَعينَ (١٤٩) Say, ‘To Allah belongs the conclusive argument. Had He wished, He would have surely guided you all.’ (149)

Once Imam Abu Hanifa was studying. A cat came by and slept on his cloth that was spread in floor. Later when there was call for prayer he was about to stand up and go to mosque but suddenly noticed that sleeping cat. So he cut that part of cloth and left it behind so that the cat can sleep uninterrupted. Because our prophet Muhammad (pbuh) loved cat. And he ordered us to be kind to the animals. ps: Do not go to comment section if you want to save your time. Some islamophobic people couldn't digest the beauty of Islam. So they tried to throw some of the dirt of their mind.

Refutation against polytheists who use Qadar (divine decree) against the Sharee'ah. They said if Allah ﷻ wanted, we nor our fathers would've worshipped others besides Allah ﷻ. So the Ayat that he's reciting are a refutation against those who deny the Sharee'ah but believe in the Qadar and use the Qadar to commit sins. If someone stole their wealth, they would not have justified it by using Qadar.

Recite is plain word in English, if you want to say recite beautifully then it's sing. Different culture different meaning. I'm sure the editor has no bad intentions in using the diction.

Well, technically he is making musical sounds in the minor scale, so "sung" doesn't seem like an inappropriate word. Maybe your understanding of the word is a little narrow. "Recitation" just means repeating something aloud, which doesnt quite cover what he's doing.

@@onepartyroule if you are going to find the definition on Google of 'recitation' then at least repeat the full definition and not part. The full definition is 'the action of repeating something aloud from memory'. He is in fact repeating, audibly, from memory but in a beautiful manner. I don't see why this would not fit in the definition of 'recitation' with the caveat 'beautifully'. It's not musical sounds lol. Perhaps you need to brush up on your understanding...

You seem to have msunderstood what I said. I didn't claim that he ISN'T reciting. What he's doing isn't SIMPLY reciting; it is more than that. And yes, it is a form of singing because he is projecting his voice in a particular way that involves moving up and down the minor scale. That can reasonably be understood as a form of singing.

Around a thousand years ago Imam Muhammad Al Ghazali told story of a man walking in the jungle. A roaring lion ran towards him and the man ran as fast as he could to escape from it. He noticed a well in front of him and he jumped inside hoping to escape from the lion. As he was falling inside the well, he grabbed onto the rope and saved himself. The man was so relieved but when he looked down he saw a big snake at the bottom of the well. It had its jaws wide open ready to swallow him up. The man then looked up and saw two mice nibbling at the rope. A black mouse and a white were both chewing into the rope. The scary lion was still prowling outside the well. The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope. Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya (this temporal world) which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.
