I want to make it clear that I think Arteta got it wrong against Bournemouth! I don't play the refs but the standard of officiating in this country is a disgraceful and it's ruining football and key games! There's no conspiracy against arsenal but F*** me I see why some people are annoyed! 😮💨
Im not sure your right these refs punish us but don't punish other teams for the same offence alot of the time look in the Liverpool Chelsea game the Chelsea player did exactly the same thing no red card Rice is punished against Brighton and yet the Brighton player gets away with doing even worse that's just two examples of many maybe there isn't a conspiracy against us but they are bluddy useless and I can understand people think they have something against us
I want to thank Cecil. Today my grandad got out of bed for the first time in 9 years, to get the TV remote and turn the volume down listening to that intro 😂😂 it was a tough one today, keep at it bro I love them 😂🙌🏼 As for the game, this is a MUST win, we don’t want the extra games given how many we already have. I’m nervous about the squad we have after Bournemouth, every game in the PL is a tough one but it shows that we can’t completely rely on rotation to win us games. Let’s win this and get the ball rolling again with a win, no pun intended.
Yhh sterling needs the minutes to gel with the team and build momentum. I can see him growing into it I would start him again vs shaktar bench vs Liverpool Start vs Preston.
If you watched Saliba played for France during the week, you won't be surprised about his red card against Bournemouth. He made some eye-catching errors for France. This is due to fatigue and lack of clarity of mind. He's played too many games and needs a break to regain his freshness and clarity back. Again, this is another Achilles heels of Arteta - squad rotation. White is a natural center-back, he should be playing there sometimes to get him ready for occassion like this.
100% agree with you. People talking about saka and odegaard played too many games but saliba too has been on the grind. Didn't have too much preseason and seem to be making tired rash decisions all season. If im arteta I'm sitting him for the next 2 weeks. Give him some time to get himself together physically and mentally smh
Giant clubs like Bayern were giving opportunities to youngsters like musiala alfonso davies Wenger was starting players like fabregas jack wilcher wilcot. Arteta now needs to give nwari a full half against these smaller teams especially now his got experienced players around him
Laurie confirmed a very important factor - players were casual and complacent during warmup. Football/soccer at all levels, your attitude during the week, and warmup determines how the game will go. If the attitude was poor during warmup, that's solely on the coach. What was he saying to the players during the week in preparation of the match? This is not a question of ability or quality. It is mainly attitude. The players and the coach should remember being second twice does not equal being the champion. Fact, we've not won anything major in the last five years, period!
I want a convincing win and a good, dominant performance, especially after that Bournemouth game. Even if we have no timber, saka, and ødegaard for tomorrow, we should have more than enough to win this comfortably.
There's something with the refs in England and arsenal. And i have a theory on this. I think this comes from the wenger days when the officials use to say he was arrogant and annoying so they made sure we always got stuck with the worse decisions. I really think that has carried over till now. I've never seen any of the top 4 sides get anywhere near the mind-boggling decisions we get at arsenal. If someone can remind me of 1 big 50-50 decision that's gone against citeh in the last 5 years then i stand corrected.. Everytime it looks like they're about to drop points here comes Michael oliver or Chris Kavanagh with a mind bending decision to save them. The same way Howard webb use to be Fergie trusted partner smh
No it is no annoying. We being punished for the things other are not. So You need to stop that bias rubbish and You need to take off that deluded vision You have. We are being treated different. And this is a fact.
So wrong to change teams against Shakhtar and Liverpool. We just lost and we have to find a way to win this Shakhtar team and prepear in this game for Liverpool game.
Think the players watching too much AFTV must have let go to their heads judging by the wild predictions you guys were giving prior to the game hey. Think that game was a wake up call seeing complacency is a b## and a half! No need to panic though just wanna see some cahone shown some some goals we move. What's past is passed but learn from it. Discipline is key seeing football is just as mental as it is a physical game so we need some shown. No time to be reactionary either seeing its time support.
It’s funny that the massive overreaction has happened after we lost our 2nd game of 2024. We’ll be absolutely fine. We’ll win tomorrow and we’ll win on Sunday. Like I said… massive reaction when Arsenal lose. Calma. Enjoy the game tomorrow 👌🏼
What the style of play that let us bottle a 2-0 lead twice in a row? The style of play that caused us to draw at home to Southampton and lose 4-1 in the title deciding game 😂
Well said Laurie!! Our players are COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE for their actions!! Cecil needs to stop whining about the world being against us and making excuses for the players! They’re highly paid experienced professionals
Arteta needs a number 9 like oshemen Kia does not gives us what hallan is giving to city We only needed a number 9 and use Jesus to do cover on both left and right wings. If we don’t sign a good striker we will not win the league. Liverpool attack is way faster than ours
Y'all just say anything. There's only 1 haaland. Where you gonna get another one?? Osehimen deal is complicated. Nobody wanna deal with that shady Naples mafia boss smh
Havertz wasn't the problem against Bournemouth. It was on Arteta for leaving him completely isolated, with no one there for him to pass the ball off to.
