i miss mine. she passed away when I was nine. The last grandma I had left. I haven't met the ones on my fathers side because they died before I was born.

I noticed that everyone who gets sponsored by them always has completely full bottles lol like it’s never been used more than once, then in future videos in the background the bottles are still full.

@@cassaundraliw i also find it weird that everyone who gets sponsored by them seems to like the product. or maybe i just dont know how sponsorships work. do the companies come to you because you are famous? or do they come to you because you liked their product?

Influencers almost always have a “business email” listed, which is where companies will contact them about sponsorship opportunities, and the more followers and better engagement they have, the more they pay. For the very large channels, a single sponsorship can range $100,000 all the way up to $1million+. If an influencer is under a management company, that management company typically handles accepting, arranging, and finding sponsorship opportunities for them. It’s rare that influencers get sponsorships based off of them already liking the products, it’s almost always companies reaching out to them based on their popularity and follower count, and them then being expected to showcase the product in their videos while either hitting a list of key talking points laid out by the company or reading from a script the company provides. Very rarely do you see influencers doing a sponsorship where they are allowed to be completely honest about the product or talk negatively about it in any way, and typically it’s really only the smaller influencers where you see that happening.

@@cassaundraliw Good point about the bottles always being full. It’s a neat concept in theory, but it’s WAY too overpriced, and I’d bet most influencers would never purchase it on their own. I doubt most of them actually use it, as I’m sure they instead use salon products recommend to them by their hairstylists/$$$ salons.
