Have you ever had a DNA done? I did it. You can order a kit online for this. I had Irish and Scandinavian just a little showed up. Which my family was surprised with this. Later on the history channel I learned that most of us do have this. It’s because of raping and pillaging centuries ago. So as far as the Cherokee showing up in your DNA is very good. They can tell you the percentage of each race that’s in your DNA. Our family had so much fun doing this. I thought you and your siblings would be all the same. Not true. You all may have the same races but different percentages. My son has always looked Native American. But we had no idea why. My husband’s great aunt did a family tree for his side. Learned of Cherokee in my husband’s side. (Surprise). My son got a big percentage of that . Try it it’s so fun and educational. I have heard of family’s giving these kits for gifts. Also if you watch these DNA web sites they do run special sales on this. It’s not cheap but so worth it.
