My mom got this version on VHS from Taco Bell when I was like 3 or 4. It got lost years ago. So being able to find it gives me warm and fuzzy Christmas vibes.
the cable company actually needs to show this one on regular 📺 during the holiday season. even though it's a older cartoon, it's still quite a good and enjoyable to watch. Also I noticed something here too, half the Christmas cartoons do not get played on regular television anymore like they use too. It's a shame and terrible.
The Ghost of Christmas Past is kinda harshly judgmental of Scrooge, and rightly so, how he has mismanaged his life, ignored his fellow man while he having the financial means to help those in need. There's a lesson to learned here.
For a long time, I had wondered about who voiced who in this film. Well, just last weekend, I discovered that it's page on Wikipedia had added in those details, only for some strange reason, I'm dubious as to how accurate they are. Here's the link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Christmas_Carol_(1982_film) What do other people think? Does that seem right to you? I can't help wonder just who added that. It seems like a rather clunky addition to the page if you ask me. On another posting, a user stated that Fan was Frawley, yet that page says it's Haddy. And, while I'm no expert, I thought from the voice that Old Joe and the second charity solicitor might be Phil Hinton (and in the latter case, it seems unlikely that they'd have the same actor voice both solicitors). Anyhow, this recent addition to the Wiki may be completely accurate, but I'm reluctant to fill in the empty spots on the IMDb page before I'm a little more confident.
