We've been taking time off to slow down and enjoy the holidays, but there's still lots of progress being made! The Riverside Retreat has been decked for the holidays and our Heights House is inching closer towards completion. We also take a moment to reflect on a year full of milestones. Cheers to an amazing 2018, and an even brighter 2019!

I don't know how I missed that you guys are in Florida. Yes, our winters in central Florida are pretty perfect with January being our coldest month, but depending on where you moved from it may be nothing for you. Love your designs, please keep up the great work and welcome to Florida, I hope you guys have many years of success and happiness here.

I remember how freezing it was earlier this year! I'm happy if it never drops below 60' ;) Thank you for the warm welcome!

I’ve been watching too many old episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch...I saw your thumbnail and immediately assumed your cat was a sassy witch trapped in a cats body 🤣

Jenna how in the He%$ do you have time to decorate for Christmas? Are you baking cookies too? GEEZ! And WOW you have had a big year. Jenna have you ever thought about Cerusing the top of that round table and just leave the rest white? If you stripped the top and Cerused just the top with white, it wouldn't be that hard (Isn't the top done with an inlay or parquet?). Just throwing an idea your way. P.S. On that window seat, do you know what size stock your husband used to frame the face of the drawers, or did he rip a special size? I am going to do the same thing to existing cabinets and you got the proportion right. I am going from flat formica to shaker, then just paint it all, I can even use the same knobs, but will have to countersink the hole because that screw is only so long. Thanks for post and hope I am not too much of a bother.

We custom ripped those pieces down (you can find more details about that in the blog post!) so they ended up over a few inches wide but that will completely depend on the size of your drawers (ours are huge).

@@JennaSue Kind of you to reply, I have allot of cabinets/draws in bath, kitchen of various sizes. I'm thinking that frame should remain a constant size throughout. Probably 1/2 inch MDF, then maybe ripped to 2-3", and see how it looks. I watched the vid again and you don't say. 2.5" sounds about right, but I'll just have to see. Architect here so that is why I appreciate what you do so much. I love your restrained design sense. I would bust your door down to hire you. Can't wait to see what you do with YOUR house and you can go a little crazy and have more free reign. Thank you again, HAPPY CHRISTMAS.
