I know he made many huge contributions to color cinematography, too, but his work on the TV shows Stoney Burke and The Outer Limits is some of the best B&W work in the history of film-- especially considering the time and money constraints of working on a weekly TV show.

I love the photography in Road To Perdition, especially the rain scenes and how the light hits through the rain through the environment and onto the actors, which makes a very beautiful sequence, as well as the silhouette look of the photography bringing out high contrast and shadows, a truly magnificent beautiful looking movie.

I notice that none of the documentaries about Conrad Hall ever mention his work on _The Outer Limits._
