What a cute layout! And I am NOT being disrespectful saying it is “cute”, I like it! The scenery and structures are excellent. My only suggestion is to add some people and vehicles to bring it to life. Well done!
Thanks for your kind comments, glad you like my layout. A lot of work has been done since I made that video in May last year. I've added about 50 people and several vehicles to my layout, all the locos now have crew too. A few can be seen in my latest video. You will be able to see the difference better in future videos. Best Wishes 😀😀
Absolutely fantastic You've captured the purpose of narrow gauge perfectly, I'm guessing that the second is onboard sound chip, now are you using peco eletrofrog 12" radius points and a final question what size is your baseboard please as I'm just starting out again and ive got ideas but nothing fixed plan wise 😊😢
Thanks for your kind comments, glad you like the layout. The loco is sound-fitted by Bachmann. I have used the Peco 12” radius electrofrog points SL-E491 and 492 throughout. The baseboard is 5 feet by 2 feet 3 inches. Good luck with your layout 😀😀
Unfortunately not. I didn't work to a track plan, I made it up as I went along. If you follow the train round the layout, you should be able to work it out though.
Hi Mark, sorry but I don't understand what you mean about the sleepers. I have used Peco set track and flexible track on the layout but have not modified the track in any way.
@@Gwenen-009 They look kind of wide compared to still photos of Peco track on Peco's website. Maybe it's a video camera side effect; in 'Murica we say "you know the camera adds 10 pounds."
No idea why this popped up as I'm not a model railway enthusiast but watched it anyway and looks amazing with all the work that must have been put into it. My only question is why is there only one set of level crossing gates when that road goes over the railway at two points? would you not have two sets or none?
Glad you like the layout. You are right about the crossing gates, there should be more. As it’s a small layout, I didn’t want it to feel like the track was hemmed in. I have since added a gate to the station yard area by the shop.
Glad you like it. That was how the layout looked in May last year. Since then I’ve added about 50 figures and quite a few vehicles. The upper level now has a passing loop and a halt. Work has been done to the scenery as well. I have posted more videos, but I can’t figure out why this one has had so many views 😀
