A Civil Engineers Guide to Navigating Autodesk Inventor and the Infrastructure Parts Editor 

Great video indeed. Your instructions guide someone to create a really working part. You should not be embarrassed about not seeing the autodesk part authoring videos. They do not use the parameters so they are close to be useless since parts made according those videos do not work. I had to read the help line by line and do reverse engineering by exporting autodesk's parts to find the path on my own. I wish i have seen your video before. It would cost me much less time to create a part on my own.

Great job I have a question I have created a custom catalog using infrastructure part editor but it doesn't appear in civil 3d also i have checked the right path for the catalog and checked part calalog region but it also doesn't work could you please till me a solution ?

My question is "How do we add a variable with a Range?" So instead of creating 30 different structures of differing heights, we can create a single structure and set a range for the riser height like the Part Builder allows for?

Where are connection points defined within an inlet part? For example, a 24x48 box that can accommodate pipe connections on all four vertical walls. Does that occur in the inventor environment?

the plugin infrastructure part shape utility, is not installed in by default and i couldn't find it in Autodesk manage extension for version 2024
