Going out on a limb and opposing slavery in 2021? Lol. It is unfortunate that the reverend chooses to attack today's American Southerners, the one time that he goes political. They are the group of Americans who share your religious beliefs. Visit the South the next time that you go to the U.S., where people actually still attend church.

I am from Kentucky and the Civil War was more complex than the video depicts. There were and still are strong regional cultural differences in the United States. Today's political environment, for example, is characterized by regional conflict, yet there is no slavery. If the reverend would like to see religious belief more in keeping with his own, he'd do better to visit the American South than the New England of today.

You are absolutely correct. The civil war was much more complex than presented here and most certainly tore families apart. The antichrist spirit is indeed alive and well in our current national climate with the same agenda... pit one group against another to cause division, hate, and eventual collapse. This video does present a largely one sided view of slavery. We all know there we plantations whereby the "slaves" were more indentured servants than "free labor." They were clothed, fed, allowed to marry and raise families, etc. By no means am I a slavery proponent, but my German ancestors were indentured servants and share croppers all the way to my father.

Indeed, New England is no longer the center of true Christian faith...hasn't been for a very long time! Instead, it has become the national center for liberal Christianity and atheism, whereas the South is where you will find true believers in Christ.

Huh, I grew up in the very south, and lived in more then one southern state AND always in the country, have not known one southerner to "fantasize or dream" of the good ole slave days....yet nite division...sad

I enjoy these programs but if you want to confront the evil of slavery, speak out the truth about the slavery of today! Human trafficking is the greatest issue of our time and a majority of churches don't say a word. It's sad to say this video preached more of a CRT message than a healing message of us joining together in fighting against the greatest issue of our time. One more message of drag up the past but let's all ignore the most major issue of the present.

@@TheIncredibleJourney with the false teachings of the 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory here in the USA, bringing up the Civil War only adds to the divisiveness of our time. A number of comments made in this video are representative of those false doctrines. History is being distorted for political purposes.
