A closer look at Sunan Giri's Heirloom Keris 

In this episode, I would like to invite all of my friends to take a closer look at an heirloom from Sunan Giri in the form of a keris called the Kalam Munyeng Keris.

The Sunan Giri Tomb Complex is located in Giri Gajah Hamlet, Giri Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency, East Java. Sunan Giri is the founder of the kingdom of Giri Kedaton, which is domiciled in the Gresik area, East Java. Sunan Giri built Giri Kedaton as a center for the spread of Islam on the island of Java, whose influence even reached Madura, Lombok, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Maluku. The Sunan Giri Tomb Complex was built in the 16th century AD which was marked by the existence of a sengkalan on a limestone dragon statue which was read as Naga Loro Warnaning or in 1428 S or 1506 AD.
