Welcome to my new RU-vid Channel, Untamed Reviews! Here I will be providing videos much like this one, in-depth automotive reviews on cool cars, trucks and SUVs. Today, I had the opportunity to showcase this stunning 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. I provide a close look at the interior and exterior features, showcase the "good" and "bad" aspects of this Tacoma and wrap up the video with my assessment on if this mid-sized pickup truck is a good buy or not. The all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road is a muscular truck, sporting a new 2.4L turbocharge iForce 4 cylinder. It's a snappy truck with 278 hp and 317 tq. Let me know what you think? Is this TRD Off Road trim your top pick? Or are you like me and prefer the TRD Pro or Trailhunter instead? A lot of folks are gunning for an SR5 or TRD Sport, which I get. All are fantastic looking Tacomas.
Do you prefer the look of this new 2024 Toyota Tacoma over the new 2024 Tundra, Sequoia and 4Runner? All are great in their own right. Love how nimble this Tacoma is though! Wonder how similar the 6th gen 4Runner will be to this.

I paid $37k for my new 20’ Tacoma TRD Offroad crew cab w/6ft bed. New car prices are out of control. Is this worth $14k more? No, but I guess this is the world we live in.

That should be the price of the hybrid TRD off road not the basic turbo 4. TRD ORP should be 45k even accounting for inflation

Great honest review. The remote start highlight was by far the best part of this video. I can’t believe nobody else has mentioned that. That is the most annoying feature (or semi lack there of) of the 3rd gen.

I bought a Toyota tacoma trd-off road 2024 for the first time owning a truck i love it, i just think that it should have had a handle on the drivers side. Also it has a secret compartment on the side of the steering wheel cool. Love that it looks like a sports truck inside. Lots of great features down to the 14’ screen displayed, downfall on my honda crv hybrid 2024. A lil tight in the back seats but it will work. Driving it it’s smooth & a quick pick up for the most part it attracts a lot of attention i’m very happy with it so far.

Good vid, I don't care for the looks of the rear quarter panel, looks unfinished. Also no locking gas door, only on the top of line. The rest looks very nice. Love my 21 trd 4wd crew cab army green. It is what I always wanted.

The exact truck, color and options I put a deposit down on today with eta mid March. Definitely sticker shock I need to get over but this is where vehicles r at now. Wish the 14” screen had the option to swivel towards the driver just slightly. The one I test drove got a little washed out in some circumstances.

With Toyota putting a turbo with the engine, do they reinforce the engine in anyway to compensate for the added pressures that results with the turbo? Like thicker gauge metal in certain areas perhaps. I’m not a mechanic or engineer in the least, but I would think Toyota would have to reinforce certain things to get the reliability and longevity out of the new turbo engine. Thanks for the video.

@untamedreviews see if you can interview the managers and have them tell us their side of the story. Why the add ons and justification of prices... ask the hard questions if they have the guts to give you an interview... I doubt they are thinking long term implications on the market... JEEP, Chrysler will be dead companies in the future, the way they are going. Anyone remember pontiac.... saturn.... exactly.

You’re comparing of the engines is misleading yes the v6 was less but that 4cyl turbo creates power in high rpm not low rpm like the older 6

Be careful about bringing up your mild concerns about the assembly moving to MX. The social justice/Internet warriors will be quick to call you "a racist". I saw this first hand on one of the BMW forums where a member brought up his concerns about the 3 series being built in MX...
