It was probably easier to do the animations if there was already some kind of "blueprint" on the faces rather than make different facial structures everytime. I imagine thats how it probably happens but Im not qualified

It's also possible that the story was supposed to have a different direction and eventually you'd get to see the faces without the masks.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but the real reason is probably because it was easier to hide a face than to program a new static face to attach to the generic NPC body. There were probably unforseen bugs, hence why both sisters have faces. For example, do you know that in Republic Commando when you shoot the droids heads off, all that actually happens is that the devs shrink the droid's head until its the size of a pea? The effect of an exploding head is just sold very well by the particle effects. Development is full of these whacky short-cuts.

Most of these negative reviews are purely political. You don't get top of the sales for a first game if it's not good.

@@burningsinner1132 um did you go into negative reviews under steam? you would be surprised to hear that they all complain about boring gunplay and story, yes game looks amazing and it has an amazing concept.. just poorly executed. and the people with political reviews are mostly from other side of the internet such as twitter, spewing nonsense how this game is "communist propaganda" whilst its not. i am one of the people that WISHES this game was anything it promised to be, it is not .. lets hope the dlc makes the game more bearable and expands on the story more.

The only thing I found that’s lowkey a bit annoying is the constant dialogue from the main character.

@@cuddlingfemboysirl Granted, game got it's issues, but I see the last names through the cracks and most of these come from Ukraine. And it's still the #1 in sales in Ukraine. Once you filter these, it more or less fits the Metacritic score: Stylish game that is okay and filled with small details which require some soviet knowledge/background to catch them. Also, quite a lot of reviews were based on PIRATED version playthrough, which is october-november dev build.

@@IRMentat Yeah, it's a serious problem with these kind of setups. Remember Shadow of War? Same thing happened with Bruz the Chopper, a legit fun and funny character. He got a good enough fan response they even brought back the VA for some extra ad spots and the like. Naturally, in the most logical design choice possible, you lose him after the tutorial where you're forced to either kill him or break his brain (so even if you DO keep him around he's lost his personality and fun). Sometimes it's hard to tell what goes through the head of a design team.

Yeah, it was going to have at least Right's face be shown either after you defeat them and/or during the Twin Ending. There's a version of that development piece in a video online somewhere!

Its not a synthetic material, its just a standart Unreal Engine noisy checkered texture. This applies to the mesh automatically by the engine if no other material is assigned by the developer. So I assume they just left it as is for now and maybe will finish it later for some dlc.

@@MetricRepeat, все так и было, друг мой. Есть еще несколько предложений, которые разработчики учли, и я рад, что моя обратная связь могла быть полезной.

самое смешное, что разрабы создали этих персонажей явно по приколу. Собирательный образ разных стереотипов. 1) На Западе о русском балете знают. И знают больше наверное, чем мы сами. Я бы называл это уже почти "клюквой". Вспомнить хотя бы высер "Красный воробей" с Лоуренс. 2) Про прическу даже говорить не надо. 3) В профиль видна гипертрофированная модельная поза с откляченной жопой, напоминающая каких-то инопланетян (в мемах таких моделей сравнивают обычно с карликовыми пришельцами из "Людей в черном 2") и это я еще не играл в игру. Там явно еще какие-то сюрпризы можно найти, которые помогали созданию образа.

@@GoodwineProt Образ взят на 100% с медсестер из сайлет хилла. В остальном они сделали этот образ роботизированным, что на самом деле гениально. Ну и за маской скорее всего и правда есть лицо. Это отсылает к робокопу. Синтез человека и машины.

Ну,с сюжетной точки зрения,это лицо женщины внутри роботов имеет место быть.. Но,скорее всего,это и в правду ошибка.

​@@fakyr6480 нет, не имеет. Это полностью роботы, с перенесенными навыками баллета и боя жены главного героя. Лицо внутри скорее всего оставлено случайно, потому что является стандартным лицом движка UE.

@@fakyr6480 В ряд ли это ошибка, скорее просто внутри движка за основу для близняшек используется стандартная человеческая модель, на которую натянут "костюм" робота, плюс добавлен свой скелет с пакетами анимаций. В нормальной игре без фрикама такое нельзя увидеть.

@PepsiVor соски сделаны потому что модель балерины красят поверх, создавая костюм. У балерин из театра в игре соски тоже есть.

@@salimabdullayev7529 Это точно намек. Да и уже известно, что они это жена глав героя. То есть из нее вполне могли слепить "робокопа", но в двойном экземпляре. Поза в которой она стоит, и вообще стиль боя может отсылать к тому, что она раньше занималась балетом.

За маской возможно вообще ничего не должно быть, потому что мозг разделен на две части, после какой-то катастрофы. Забавен тот факт, что голова сделана в виде скафандра. Он похож на нового робокопа. То есть, если бы разрабы захотели, часть лица могла быть открыта(рот), а другая скрываться за маской, но они этого не сделали. Загадка в том, есть ли за маской вообще, что либо, кроме некой "субстанции" в колбочке.
