You should set your aluminum mold on an electric hot plate to keep it warm instead of using a heat gun. That would keep the mold warm the whole time you are pouring. Then just remove it to cool and set the plastic.

I love the idea of you making materials/supplies/kits for DIY bait making. You really have made a big impact in terms of getting people into bait making and I think there's no one better to do that sort of thing

Just found your channel and I have been watching your videos for the past week a lot and I’m hooked. Sorry, for the bad pun. Got a few ideas I like to throw out there. 1. On the aluminum mold bait, how would it be if you pour the plastic around a connected wire hardware so you can attach treble hooks. 2. For a special bait idea, a skeleton fish. Sort of a wooden crank bait carved skeleton. 3. Please revisit the upside down crank bait. I think if you lessen the angle of the lip like to a 10 or 15 degree angle, it will rise at a slower pace. Btw, that yellow bass paint job on that bait was gorgeous. Thanks for the good job on the videos, please keep them coming.

This is NOT my idea, but it works REALLY well: Instead of using a torch and heat gun on your aluminum mold(s), get an electric griddle and preheat the mold on that. If you set up a vacuum surge tank, you could pull a vacuum on your chamber faster. Some kydex guys do that with their tables since their pumps aren't fast enough for the cooling plastic.

Cusk, burbot, ling. Same fish known by many names. Also known as "fresh water cod". (Because of the way they taste.) Anyways, they kinda resemble an eel. Albeit an over weight one. I do alot of night fishing for big Brown Trout. 10+lbs. The burbot, cusk, or ling are nocturnal. And %90 of the time I keep a big male brown, they have at least 6-10 immature (4-6") cusk in their stomachs. I have yet to see a lure, whether it's a soft plastic or a jointed swim bait that is an imitation of them. I'm sure it would be a niche market. But I'd def buy a bunch. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to catch them in my minnow traps, and they work awesome as live bait. Just a suggestion from a serious trout fisherman I love what you do and never miss a video Just a suggestion from Vermont. All the best to you and your family in this crazy time we are experiencing.

Im having troubles with the swiming of that bait, It doesnt jiggle when retrieving the bait, i dont know if was the jighead or the plastic density that was way to hard, um very sad with performance, If you have any tip for this mold, please, im all ears
