Remember: for that real feel, always practice flying on a busy server with a full load of passengers. If you crash and/or get shot down a lot, people will be totally cool with that.
@Christian Arvin C. Cabo You don't have to worry about that. You will just get banned forever and can uninstall the game again. Or you meet Jevski (one of the worst administrators in gaming history) in a match and get banned for no reason anyway.
I can absolutely vouch for playing a medic as a new player. One of my first PR experiences was the medic in a team full of vets. I spent the full game healing, reviving, and resupplying epi-pens. I believe I was the best player of the team that round, fairly sure I didn't kill anybody either. Unironically, tons of fun
I don't know why, but the recoil in this game is so good. Shooting feels so much better than the weird, smooth recoil that pretty much all other games have. Even if it isn't 100% realistic (seems like the recoil is pretty high for some guns that shouldn't be) it makes the game feel so much better than others imo
Interesting take on the playing medic as a noob. I am a veteran and i still find the medic one of the most demanding roles. You need to be absolutely aware of exactly what is going on in order to judge when, where, whom, in what order and how to revive the fallen for the squad to survive. In most of the squads i've been the medics either make or break the squad. I avoid the role when i don't feel like playing absolutely "seriously".
It’s probably for the sake of the veterans leading the newbies. You can tell newbie medics to run around, healing and reviving anyone necessary, while they get a feel for the game. You already know they won’t contribute much and medic is kind of the best role to sacrifice next to riflemen in a squad. Riflemen still is a better sacrifice tho
i was so bad at this game yet it was so much fun, i mostly grabbed the medic as no one wanted to and a lot of squads would go empty. Man the feling when you just save a group of like 7 people cannot compare
Come an play man! It's an amazing mod, quite hard to understand at a first glance... but worth it the learning curve. Once you get it... is so much fun!

Amazing! As a PR player for over 8 years, i had to say that this type of guides are quite good for new players in order to understand that in this game, cooperation is needed. Seems quite hard to understand at first glance, and it is... take some time to get used to the roles, squad tatics, veichles names, maps layouts, etc... but once you get it is that much fun! For all new ppl that are considering got into i say...come and play with us!!... but learn the game, cooperate and you will see the real fun that PR is about!
I totally agree on being medic, although its a tuff role, you will be loved if you play it right and people will invite you into the community. As a noob myself, this is what I have been doing and its worked amazingly.
Came over from Squad recently and I'm loving the game so far. I'd love a Squad Leader guide because I'm tired of hoping my SL doesn't suck/has a bad mic/barely speaks my language
The most important things for a sl is: using the radio and right clicking while holding q or t you can build emplacements such as fobs, or you can mark enemies on the map if you look towards that direction, secondly right clicking on the map you can use markers and tell the distance between you can the marker lastly is using the number pad to talk to other squad leads

For me, as an ex pr-player, your videos makes me cry. I was the best in russian community for KIA, but suddenly i will never come back. Cheers for the best game, that gave me worth emotions, real life sucks 😢
For English speakers I would personally recommend joining the server '=HOG= Mixed Modes . Easy Eight', but If it is full and you don't want to wait sometimes there are a few squads that are called English Mic in the SSG Hardcore server, but usually this is a Russian/ Slavic speaking server.

I'm in need of tutorial on how to make players play on Slorg's Project Reality server. I mean, man, this server is absolutely the best one out there, and no one seems to play on it usually. Always that damn Hog, or Mafia. I just can't understand why. The ping and community is MUCH better on your server, I wish it was full most of the time. Cheers.
Three or four years ago , i had a problem with mumble few times : I quit the game, go to bed and hear some voices from computer…that was a little bit scary) I thought someone hacked my computer, but mumble just didn’t close itself

Awesome. I used to play this about 8 years ago with a buddy of mine. Our strategy was always to do a fast moving small squad on a big flank. Fun times coming behind insurgent pushes. Did Vietnam and WWII actually get released out of beta? They were like special events you could only see through Bluedrake back when I played.
@slorgs do you own a server. I just started playing a few days ago and I wished there were more active servers. I just see HOG full most of the time but can’t join because is full… I hope your vids help increase the player count. Keep it up!
In game noises and mumble voice chat are 2 different things, if you can hear voice chat it sounds like you've got mumble set up correctly. For game audio, In the options menu of the PR launcher under audio make sure your headset is selected as the output.
@@slorgs it was i did sum testing thing too but well it didn't work properly the output was selected as my headphone but for sum reason it just would work. is it might be becus of not good quality of headphones or smthn?
alright i'm a week late but as a relatively new pr player i think this game is definitely in need of a new set of guides with a good production value lol. Way i'd structure it would be to have sort of a general infantry guide first since most of it will be consistent through all classes. This would be focused on comms and tactics, comms being stuff like terminology, map reading, making efficient callouts, when to use squad or local chat, identifying friend from foe quickly, calling "crossing" or "friendly coming in" before going through a door(seen way too many people get FF'd for that lol.) and Tactics being things like staying with your squad, using defilade, choosing good firing positions, aiming with deviation, and using grenades(both smoke and frag). Then, i would do a class guide which would focus on the special weapons or differences that you need to keep in mind for each class, After that a squad leader guide, not entirely sure what would be in this since i haven't touched that bit of the game yet. And the last 2 would be guides on crewing vehicles and air assets, looking forward to seeing more guides regardless of how you do em though, hopefully your efforts get more people into this game
Why don’t you lag? Every single server I connect to lags. Feels like a slight rubberbanding going on every few seconds. No other game on my computer lags.
