Hi guys. Apologize in advance if the video is boring. Trust me that it will really help you analyze your games and teach you to master the carry role if you know what to look out for. TURN THE SPEED DOWN TO 0.75X IF EXPLANATION BECOMES TOO FAST AROUND THE MIDWAY ONWARDS INTO THE VIDEO. Thank you!🙏
Brother this is pure gold. Why are you apologizing ? We all really appreciate the work and devotion you put into each video. Carefully embedding important knowledge into each section. Keep pumping out more. Your video on Tower diving in mid made such a huge impact on my gameplay. Thanks buddy stay blessed.
Bro you are an amazing teacher. I just came back playing dota after 10yrs and your videos made me enjoy it again without having to start from scratch again.
That's very much the type of content I crave for! Love the rationale and analytics in it, thanks for putting it out! Please do a cheat sheet for mid too :)
Love the content. I don't play carry but your mid videos have really helped me after coming back to the game years later. You're very talented as a teacher. I wanted to say that I notice on some videos you apologize for saything things like "again" or apologizing if the video is boring. Don't worry about that, we don't notice it we're too busy soaking up all the great knowledge you have to offer
This may be the best educational dota content/resource ever made. I would hire your coaching if I wasnt poor, but you have at least earnt a subscriber.
The most important thing about climbing rank is your mastery over many different heroes. If your hero pool is limited, ull not be able to climb far. You need to be able to identify good/bad matchups and pick heroes according different games.
Do you think that a top carry player who only spams 1-2 heroes at 4k games will be able to grow? No need to answer this question because the answer is clear. :)
in lower brackets its very difficult to lane and farm early as a carry. most of the time the support sux does nothing in lane or just leaves you. and in early game when a creep wave is coming the nuke it and take it. you just have to rot in NC the whole early to mid game. can you make a video on how to farm as carry in lower bracket.
What changes do you think I should make to this doc for offlane role? It seems most things are fundamental and therefore should be same for offlane and carry
Yes, most concepts are interchangeable between core roles. The biggest difference would be area of play and strength of heroes at level 6. As offlane, you generally want to win lane and push when you are level 6, break their tower and invade the enemy's jungle with wards. This will be followed by hunting for their carry and shutting his game down. This would probably be the biggest difference.
It would be a dream if you can do the same thing for support role. I imagine its a big effort and even if you arent as experienced in supp it would be highly appreciated!
Hi, I am experienced in all roles. It just takes a lot of work to make a spreadsheet like this. I will keep it in view for future references in case I do come up with the documents. Look forwards to it!
I intend to play a few games and keep an excel log with these scoring criteria. After that, I would like to book coaching so that I have good data to work with before the session.
27:47 Is it a mistake about last hits at 30 minutes? I mean 250 at 30 minutes is really not much on a lot of heroes. You can do 180-250 on 20 min on most heroes (except for non farming like riki). Should the timing be 20 min instead of 30?
This document is geared towards the average last hits that you would be attempting to hit regardless of your type of carry played. If playing a flash farming carry, the last hits would naturally go above 300+ by 30 mins on average, whereas on non-flash farming heroes are usually by the 200-250 mark.
It's not though... If you regularly make bkb, you win games and reach a point where everyone is making bkbs and then you're back to square one of dota 😜 if your friends don't wanna improve, there's not much you can do about it
I have a storm spirit acquintance that refuses to buy bkb even if he’s against shaman lion. Some people just hate the item or don’t understand how valuable 7-9 seconds of kicking someone’s teeth in is worth.
@@BalloonDota i pull creep agro onto ranged every single wave without thinking about it (midlane) , is that a bad thing? are their scenarios were you don't want to do that (other than just getting their wave killed under ur tower for no reason)?
@@Ashor You will only stop pulling creep aggro when you are stronger to trade/ready to kill the enemy under his tower. Once it reaches that point, you don't want the enemy to pull creep aggro away from you to run away from you, so you would need to position aggresively in front of the wave to stop him and zone him out.
If battlefury build then power treads battlefury manta. If maelstrom then phase boots maelstrom manta. Manta would be the timing. Or manta + 1 item (normally I go with blink) by the 20-23ish mark
Trust me, bro - you don’t do most of this. If you don’t admit you’re bad you won’t improve ever. Which is fine. You don’t have to make this a chore. If you don’t like to work on weaknesses, that’s fine. Just don’t expect to improve without being honest to yourself first. You are herald 5, man. high mmr players win 90% of your games without using a keyboard. It is proven over and over and over….
This video content is so awesome, but the video itself is so boring and feels off. Damn if this guy would've a nice editor or he'd knew how to engage the audience and make it a spectacle, hed have much more subs. PainDota videos have the same format, but they are much more pleasant to watch. And the thumbnail is perfect. This thumbnail is ass
