The Jockey implant is very nice with a cloaked flash. When a flash appears, the first thing people target is the guy on the flash instead of the flash, because the flash takes too long to kill. So, the extra shield is a life saver.
Hey, thanks for taking the time to lay all this out (for Vets & Newbies alike!) - I think I speak for everyone when I say we all really appreciate your efforts! :)
I got recommended to buy iso-4 recycler because it has higher chance of exceptional and I almost never get them and was raging about losing thousands of certs, and first iso-4 recycler gave me exceptional implant... and later on buying more of them I got another.
Imho people mainly should stick to deluxe implant packs, more so when starting off, as ISO-4 is rarer then certs and even if you don't get an exceptional you get a 200-ish iso-4 out of using the duplicate breakdown refund afterwards which can be used towards saving up to get some important rank 5 implant levels.
@@RolandTechnicalDesigner DO NOT ever use ISO-4 if you have all the Basic Implants unless you don't mind losing a lot of ISOs in hopes of getting an Exceptional. If you put 10,000 ISOs into the ISO-4 Recycler expect a 1/50,000 chance you just might get one Exceptional. However, you will have a 100 percent chance of losing at least 5,000 ISOs. Loot boxes are scams.
Probably worth mentioning, I have personally found Regen to work really well with LA if you like carrying C4 most of the time as it's a good substitute for medkits if you fancy being able to get in and get out. Or if your not super good/don't have a good PC or a new player if you end most fights with some health missing. My PC has never been great and as an LA that always has C4 I found most fights I survived I was on at least half health, and I need every hitpoint of it to win a fight. So Regen is definitely something I would highly recommend to new players if they can't give up whatever thing for a medkit or prefer to play LA or Infil
Electro Tech is actually pretty useful for a battle Valkyrie. Get a coordinated squad into a Valkyrie, and suddenly you come under heavy fire- that bonus repair from reaching over and knifing your friendly engineer who’s running the implant can mean the difference between life and death, sometimes
Phylactery and Safeguard goes great on MAX. You would take 75% Health along with a bullet resistant boost. Logistics specialist goes great with flash just park somewhere near the point so your squadmates can easily spawn close to the point
Logistics Specialist allows for spawn-ins in enemy territory. Good for dedicated ferry drivers and pilots. I've seen it put to good use in AMP station attacks combined with Gate Shield Defuser.
Catlike implant is extremely useful for Stalker suit users (notably, knifes users). Crouch speed is really, really useful to reach your target faster and eventually crouch out of a fight like a boss (crouch don't trigger radars of any sort, making it easier to counter Infiltrator as Infiltrator). I don't have Carapace, but as Infiltrator it seems really strong, throwing EMPs at your feet, 500 HPs instead of 400 shield is also a boost. That and one Commi gives you a serious advantage vs even 2-3 ppl.
VERY FUNNY Commander! I laughed at your "shout-out to those watching from bathroom"... then 25 mins into the vid (after totally forgetting) I ended up pausing TV and found myself watching on phone .. from bathroom!🤪 (seated of course! Lol) 👍
I have seen phylactery being used very effectively by max units in conjunction with dedicated engineers. Since MAXes gain xp frequently, the phylactery charges up frequently enough so that if they also have safeguard, maxes stay active longer even when there are few medics around. Works well around capture points either when defending or attacking.
Slight thing about safe fall,It can let you use a esf to do a tad of shock & awe value (Ram it into abunch of enemies, jump out prior taking little damage,Than you have a makeshift smoke screen and are by the enemy whom in my experience won't notice you for abit). Also safe fall maxed,Very useful on bio lab pads, due to the ability of jumping down at no to little cost.
Correction on Electrotech 5. It now disarms them rather than blowing them up, similar to an Engi disabling a tank mine with his repair tool. I have it myself and it's quite funny but it also disables allied Spitfires, including my own.
I can confirm Bionics + Robotstechnican or especially with Jockey you gain so much shield strengh. Jockey gives you extra if you sit in a rumble seat like harasser, flash (this the only one where it triggers and you can drive too), and valk. ofc on all mana turrets too. Take a shield capa and there you go. Its one of my fav loadouts. ExperiMentalStims is my artist name for my random electronic music. Check it out on soundcloud, if you feel like.
Symbiote is bugged as follows: Damage only ticks if you change loadout while alive. When you redeploy, the damage ticks are disabled. This makes it a free nanoweave, basically. When you change loadout while alive, it ticks way too often and poops all over your health.
Thanks to your video I just switched from assimilate and battle hardened to assimilate and survivalist on my heavy. And just as you said, I did not notice much of a difference in flinching, but the increased speed and the fact, that my shields get back up faster is way more useful! So once again, thanks for the tips cyrious! (the grind is bad tho...)
Counter-Intelligence is extremely useful to pilots because it also displays literally anything that manages to damage you on the mini-map. This includes infantry using small arms and burster maxes.
Haha! Typical I got Bionics bus wanted to know more about it, as I believed my bar would turn blue like a shield version of Carapace but it doesn't. I still have almost equal, seemingly, bars still! Asked in chat a few times if anyone knows if it could be bugged...I was hoping you'd tell me more!🤘🤣 Great show though as per.. About time you finished this!😜 HeHe cheers dude you'r a boos! P.S: Carapace still illudes me also, as does logistics 😥
On my harasser driver I run EOD and logistics, it's great cause you can pull from a hot spot and dont have to pick up your gunner and an ammo tower is never further away from a 30 second drive. Back seat repair I run cold heart and jockey and I freaking love it.
Some quick information for people: The spitfire turret will spot enemies with the assassin implant, The athlete speed doesn't stack with adrenaline pump, You can also stack Jockey and Robotics Technician for super tanky engineer turrets. I have a dumb question for anyone, what happens if you stack carapace with bionics? or Symbiote with Regeneration?
biotic and carapace will just cancel eachother out, leaving you with little ( and i mean little ) amount of HP ( tempted to say 1 ). and the regen wouldn't work at all due to the symbiote. regen description dose mean without taking ANY damage for a certain amount of seconds.
@@Onus6688 has anyone considered fortify and mending field? if you remember to use fortify, the build dose wonders! ( add some flak armor for good measure )
I run Bionics & Jockey 5 on a flash with a medic, scout radar and shield regen field, I park up in a combat situation, jump on the back seat and just sit there reviving everyone dying around me whilst getting copious amounts of xp for healing, scout radar, shield regen and reviving, flame thrower on the flash and nano regen, flak jacket.. honestly it's beastly.
oh, this build also heals maxes, and with maxed out vehicle healing on your medic you can heal through walls, or even different floors, sit above the fight in a safe room and you're laughing
Safe fall is amazing for light assaults. I started running it, and falls that would normally kill me do no damage, its awesome, it turns suicidal missions into still suicidal but last longer missions, like bomb a sundy, jump off a cliff, come back, repeat
I just upgraded my engineer to a really nice load out. I have survivalist, Robotics technician, Demolitions pouch, C4, Bishop, and a mag scatter. It's really fun and effective tbh.
They should change the drop rates for types of implants, and remove some of the useless implants (e.g. Cold Heart ir Minor Cloak) and add implants that have a clear benefit to using.
i mean coldheart isn't THAT useless... right? but minor cloak i find okay if you wanna be a stalker infil and have a primary. ( now i wonder, does deep opperitive effect minor cloak? be really nice if it did. )
I use it on my Lock-on Heavy. Especially if you fight air, you get some damage, which you often survive and then have a calm period of 20 to 30 secounds before you get nuked again. In that time, the regeneration comes in quite handy. Especially since you rarely get medics, that support anti air heavies.
Omg..10:40....I'm sitting here and have this rush of Nostalgia. What is it.... what the hell is that. Then I'm blasted back 8 years to when I'm mining an asteroid field Deep In Eve Online Bender
For me I can't imagine not running mending field. Although that's cause I've always used recharging field on my medic. Combine that with Max rank regen and I've rarely had issues with my medic holding a point with my squad. Hell there have been times I was able to push rooms a heavy couldn't cause I'd throw down the RF and keep getting my health and shields healed right up. Combine that with a couple medics and heavies and you can push everything short of a max crash Edit: My friend just shared his medic push loadout which use mending field and assimilate together with regen sticks and it seems to work in tandem with my setup.
I feel like it bears mentioning on athlete that even though there are some better implants, it is one of the few that you can instantly notice when you equip in a big way. makes all the classes movement feel better, more smooth.
Not sure if this is normal, but i managed to juggle myself atop a friends galaxy on a flash, I was decked out with logistics specialist & wraith cloaking device. We got to the techlab on indar an driving off the galaxy, i nearly fell from the roof haha, while the rest of our platoon caused ruckus outside, we were taking the point 👌 Downside is you're only there as a living spawn-point till they set up a replacement :( Upside is you're the squads personal mvp :)
I just watched the whope video in 360p xD Btw what's up with Revenant? And you can literally use Infravision for free, all you have to do is get a NV scoped weapon and be quick enough to scope in and scope out and your whole screen will be in NV.. If you scope again with the NV scope, you'll lose it. You can switch between classes and keep this effect. I reported this a year ago with /bug don't know if it's still in the game but hey, you can save an extra implant spot!
They changed fortify to give you nanoweave armour when you stand still (at max rank) for 0.1 seconds. Seems alright now but probably only good for Engineer.
Assimilate and symbiote is great on heavy. Probably will sub out assimilate if I can ever get carapace. Frees up my suit slot for bandolier or flack depending on breaching or point holding.
15:30 Confirmed Cyrious is never a flash shitter. I run it with auxiliary shield, nano-armor cloak on my wraith flash loadout, 750 shields is pretty nice to have as an infil; sometimes you can eat a tank shell to the face an live. Edit addition: "29:50 "Got to trade it out for something important like... Ammo Printer or Ransack" Me as a flash shitter: having to decide whether I want Jockey or spawn a C4 LA on my flash.
@@PreviewAvailable You are why I never stop running Sweeper Hud. If tank mines were such a big threat to flashes, I'd be running Jockey and be spawning C4 LA's on my flash. Although I might see how mineguard works as an alternative, when I fight NC Vanguards (since there is less positives to running composite armor against Vanguards).
You telling me there are more implants than just Ammo Printer? I wouldn't know 'cause the game keeps giving me Ammo Printer like Oprah gives away Cars.... wow that was an dated metaphor
Listening to the implant overview and I kept thinking of what implants I have on my Eve Online Characters for some reason, then I realized that it was because the music playing in the video was made by RealX.
Does symbiote trigger paratrooper? Like does each tick give you fuel? It'd be hilarious flying super high with your jump jets to surprise a random hovering lib with a brick of C4. xD I think future implants should have an emphasis on synergy with existing implants.
man I wish there was a SA server in PS2, not sure how the pop would change for NA servers, but if I could play it with less ping I would return in a second.
Mobility mesh and nanomesh specialist are created for resist shield, not adrenaline which is meta. Resist shield very helpful in clusterfuck mess when one random nade can desolate your overshield and turn your heavy assault in to a regular infantry for the next gunfight, so you don't have advantage of increaced health pool. Works very well with advanced shield capacitor and allow you to have minimum possible downtime between peaks. Resist shield also protects you from being oneshotted by sniper rifles (except aurax versions and railjack), i think it is very underestimated option for HA. I use Assimilate+Mobility mesh with TMG50 as my everyday loadout and Infravision+nanomesh specialist with Dragoon battle rifle as my countersnipe loadout - you safe from being oneshotted, you can just stand still with active resist shield and provoke snipers to gave up their positions and you always gonna win duel against bolt action sniper. Gunslinger great only for loadout with same name "gunslinger". In my opinion there is 3 "gunslinger" loadouts, 1st is Vampire+Carapace, 2nd is Vampire+Assimilate and 3rd is Gunslinger+Survivalist with pair of your prefered pistols, double commisioner is your safe choice (common commisioner as your sidearm and black commisioner as your primary with ASP perk allowing you to equip it there). Together this 2 implants speedup your reload speed up to 40% which is huge boost especially for commisioners and gunslinger lvl5 bonus also mitigates their recent nerf (equip time from 250 to 450). I already had some funny duels against smart foes who count my shots and stop dodging when i have 1-2 bullets left, just imagining how they gonna surprised when you pull out your second commisioner and do more than 6 shots before reload is priceless. Ofc running around pistol only is already handicaps you, but for guy who had 7k kills on minigun and 2-4+k kills on his other favorite weapons this loadout is savior of the day, turning booring, stale farm in to adventure! Bionics is not that OP as i thought, currently i find only 3 loadouts when it is shine. 1st if pretty obvious - medic with field shield regen device, basicly it is point holder with infinite constant stream of healing, i highly recommend SABR-13 for this loadout and assimilate ofcource, downside obviously EMP cause they not only almost wipe you, but at the same time destroy your shield regen device force you to switch your gun, place it again and switch back, also you can be oneshotted by boltaction for "pointholding" to much lol. I use this loadout just to regen my NANITES after intence bandolier LA bombing runs during double expirience events, because as i said it's free (real estate) healing for clusterfuck biofarms and also a cert grinding machine. But shield regen is VERY, VERY slow, which is primary downside for me especially if we compare it to resist shield heavy assault what i mentioned early. Second usage even more niche - flash driver\gunner\loadout without medkits so you need regeneration or bionics, pretty situational. Last, but not least is BATTLE ENGINEER, requires you to waste 2 ASP perks for LMG primaries and Shotgun secondaries, advanced shield capacitor and "Symbiote" implant to compensate lack of nanoweave in your suit slot. Does it worth it? Not really, only if you are engineer main and want to turn yourself in to a battle fortress with infinite ammo, reserve hardlight barriers and stuff. But time between "OH SHIT I AM LIT" to "JUST KIDDING, I AM AT FULL HEALTH" is nutzzz, this is something what everybody must try at least once in a life. Word about paratrooper - after aerial combatant nerf i saw guy with nickname ~hegetus who complete a challenge of achieving 100 000 kills with pistol, he used this implant, i tried it and it is sort of replacement for combatant. Shotguns charge up your fuel tank very rapidly cause each pellet is separate damage instance. Even selfdamage works (feels like this is intendent if we take closer look at lvl5 bonus), easiest way of abusing this is equip tychoon rockets and shot under your feet from rocklet rifle causing you to take only 150 dmg and get almost full ambusher jets, so i can say this one is have it's own usage. Zig-zag movement and medkit dancing a bit - boom, you dash away on your ambusher jets, "see you later suckers". P.S. symbiont + carapace + granade bandolier with healing nades is alternative choice for battle medic, cuz, you know... healing nade effect still stack with nanoregen and restokits, i tested it, all three sources is apply a separate healing effect
"Second usage even more niche - flash driver\gunner\loadout" I almost never drive flash without Jockey and Sweeper HUD. And if I am planning on having a flash passenger I run Squad Logistics implant instead of jockey, if my passenger needs healing they can just redeploy on the flash (which they will likely be doing anyways to get more c4/mines). Plus it isn't uncommon to be in friendly territory while owning a biolab. Plus just respawning and deploying a new flash isn't that much of a hassle; especially a squad mate set up a nearby construction base with vehicle spawn. I can't really see myself not running sweeper hud on my flash.
Just recently got coldheart it actually works with the engineer repair tool all the time, (I play tr) I use this when I'm in repair duty in a valk. Or when gunning for a harrasser.
"10% of your ability energy isn't that much, it is only like 45 overshield for a heavy assault" Meanwhile the difference between level 3 and level 4 assimilate is 35 shield. Also I find it funny how life is hell for high tier players when they don't run assimulate; it really benefits those who reliably land those headshots and can farm people. For below average players like me, it doesn't help nearly as much as assimulate doesn't do you any good if you die before you get a kill.
Symbiote doesn't trigger until 30 seconds of no damage taken/kills at rank 5, then it ticks every 15 seconds. If you unlock bionics, I urge you to try out symbiote and ASC on engineer with a secondary shotgun and AR/LMG primary, spitty and then C4 in your utility for tossing through doors - seriously one of the strongest builds I've played, and your shields, even after EMP, regen back to full in under 5 seconds. I've been trying asc, bionics, and symbiote on HA just to try and curb my medi kit addiction by replacing my utility with aux shield - it's worked pretty decently so far.
I've been staring at my low level implants for ages, i havent touched them since they first came out. I'm never really sure what i should be fully certing into as they cost so dam much. the only one i like is the one that gives me the HP bar of your target someone, i find it near impossible to play without it, especially fighting against vehichles or maxes.
To reach a level 5 for any implant is 3675 iso = 12250 certs = 30625 kills This is such an exaggerated grind. Do they AT LEAST refund the iso 4 if they nerf an implant you upgraded?
would minor invisibility basically make a sniper permanently invisible exept for a splitsecond to shoot? shoot -> use cloak to bridge the 8 seconds implant activation time -> uncloak and use invisibility implant -> repeat
Lol I have Carapace and Avoidance. Idc about carapace but Avoidance is amazing for not getting killed by claymores and it reduces spitfire range by 50%
actually you can see infil with flashlight. i play light+infra+regen. IMO safefall with std jetpack is not obligatory.with ambush i replace regen with safefall. and almost all the time i use flashlight with main weapon
Idk in PC, but in PS4 we can only breakdown duplicates of Implants. About Fortify, I think it would be better that instead of you receiving a buff, it makes the capture point being harder to capture, like it make the progress slightly slower, but I dunno
personally, i don't use "crutch" implants ( such as combat surgeon ) as often, i usually use quality of life implants ( like gunslinger ) because, like you said, dieing dose always happen, in other words; i don't seek to be the best. If you excuse me, i gotta regain my aim, cus aim assist spoiled me REAL badly XD )
Oh also can you pls do a video on practicing headshots. I know you made a vid on it but I'd like to see if there's anything different now and I just want to hear expert advice :)
Alright so you know how you said in one of your videos the population would have to triple..... well on emerald yesterday there was 2 full continents and spill over 3rd one! 😍😍😍😍
Dbg claims they fixed the bug with critical chain lasting forever in a patch notes not too long ago, however I still get the effects until I change my loadout.
@@CMDRCyrious I could have sworn it is backwards. It says so on the patch notes that Advance shield capacitor's -1 shield cooldown does not stack with survivalist. "Advanced Shield Capacitor now reduces shield recharge delay by 1 second, in addition to its pre-existing benefit. (This benefit does not stack with Survivalist implant.)" forums.daybreakgames.com/ps2/index.php?threads/july-25-2019-pc-update-midsummer-mentors.252208/ Possibly a bug if it is what you say.
jockey and robot technician is so good(i'm an engi main obviously) that i'm always dreading on choosing to replace jockey with infravision implant(gameplay style choice, dont @ me bro). Carapace though(almost an update comment) still no dice - rng, y u no drop?
