My first Disney cruise was on the Dream, followed by the Magic. I have the Fantasy booked for August and the Wonder booked for December. The Wish I plan on doing in 2023. I have to say, Disney’s ships are stunning. Both the exterior and interior. Classic ocean liner exterior and the interior is classy. Not loud, obnoxious or gaudy like some other lines. With that being said, my favorite chandelier is the Dream’s. I love that gorgeous blue. I wish the Dream did longer cruises like the Fantasy.
I've never had a desire to cruise on a Disney ship. Always thought they were too expensive & loaded with kids. Living in Florida & going to Disney World evey year, to me, Disney is all about the rides....who doesn't want...It's a Small World...playing in their heads...over & over🤪 But seeing the vlogs of adult only content creators enjoying themselves & sailing multiple times, I think I'll have to give Disney cruise lines a chance. Thank you for sharing this awesome ship tour vlog👏🏽👏🏽
Beautiful ship! That hallway did indeed look like Gaudí’s Barcelona. I’d love to visit that British bar. Even the carpeting had the layout of the Underground. I have socks with the London Underground print on them…they’re my “Tube” socks. 😉
We're booked for June again this year and it looks like this will be our last cruise on the Fantasy, unless we decide on a short cruise at some point. I'm looking forward to the Treasure, but we've been sailing the Fantasy since its inaugural year. Will miss our "home" ship! ❤ (Also - you can get a wonderful brunch in Remy as well! It's a great way to check the place out without spending the full amount for dinner!😉)
Ben & David thanks for mentioning the location of a smoking section....none of the video ship tours ever do. It's great information for those who smoke and those who wish to avoid those areas.❤
You’d think Disney of all places would understand that all of this “For an extra charge” stuff kinda dims down the magic a bit… more like alot. Took a Celebrity Cruise and paid for a drink package that I think Disney would benefit greatly from repeating. Disney cruises are some of the most expensive around and whereas I understand completely they need to be paying actors and entertainers which other cruises may not have to, at least offer packages that cover the majority of it so it’s not something to think about during the cruise.
@@brandonfrazier8679 yeah, in the end Disney has been getting weirder and weirder with pretty much everything they’re doing but you’d think a cruise, where the whole point of the experience is to be all inclusive, would include drinks. It’s very odd.
Pretty much every drink, soft and hot, are free on a Disney cruise! It’s only alcohol and premium hot drinks that are charged. I’ve just come off a 7 night cruise and didn’t spend an extra penny on drinks because everything I needed was included. I’m not interested in alcohol or lattes so for me to have to buy a drinks package for what’s currently included would indeed feel like having the magic removed! Each to their own, but I’m more than content with what’s complimentary on a Disney cruise!
When I saw you guys were on here on Instagram, I was really looking forward to this video to hear your perspective of the ship. I'm dying to try Disney, but so nervous about doing it as a solo without kids. However, I think this video's actually settled me to the point where I'm ready to find an itinerary that works - thanks for posting this!
My wife and I have been on Disney ships 7 times, all without kids. They are a blast. So many areas that are adult only such as bars, coffee shops, pool deck, etc. The vibe is really quite pleasant and even more so if you are a solo traveler or a couple like us who want to experience Disney from a different perspective. Many people think the Disney ships are designed with kids in mind but many don't realize how much there is to do that are designed around adults. The big difference is NO CASINO! Instead there is a Movie theater which plays movies all day long, also no cigarette smoke inside any area of the ship. There are cooking classes, wine and liquor tastings, having professional chefs show how they prepare meals, adult only trivia and so much more. Do your homework though, RU-vid is a great resource, and these guys videos are spot on!!
I wish I could hit the like button again after each time I watch this video. Ben, your videography skills are off the charts! So smooth it makes for very enjoyable, relaxing videos. I appreciate you and David
I just discovered your channel. My mom and I are planning a cruise to the British Isles in 2026. Our first Disney cruise was to Alaska in 2019 on the Wonder. Looks like we'll be on the Fantasy for this next one. Watching this makes me ask the question- Is it September 2026 yet? Thank you for making this video, now I know what the ship looks like from the inside out. Can't wait for another DCL adventure 😊
We just got off our first Disney cruise on the Wonder to Alaska last week & booked the Fantasy for this October because we loved it so much! Can't wait!!
There’s 104 days of Disney vacation and guest comes along just to WISH it So the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it? LIKE MAYBE 🤔?
🚢 🍾This is a great video! I love the adult only area - you must have gotten up at the crack of dawn and stayed up really late to get these shots with no people. Thanks for the great content! I need you to film on the diamond princess so we know what our cruise will be like 😃 you do such a great job!
Great video, have been trying to find a full tour of the ship but all vlogger channels are too personal and chatty - I just want to see the ship haha 😆 this is great and very detailed, thank you
@@Cruisewith Oh, ok. So, which ship would you choose for the first time given that they are kinda similar... what, in your opinion, makes one a little better or nicer than the other?
@Mindycrz49 Honestly, itinerary and length is more important. If you really want a distinction, it's going to be in the stage production. The Dream has The Golden Mickey's, Believe, and Beauty & the Beast (adapted from the live action movie). Fantasy has Frozen, Aladdin, and Believe. Each also have different acts that will be included on longer cruises. The adult section also has similar bars but Dream's District is more inspired by general US cities whereas Fantasy's Europa is more themed to European cities. So if neither of these are that important, then you can't go wrong witg either ship really
I cruised this ship 10 years ago. Loved it. So relaxing and elegant. I'm not a fan of the Casino like atmosphere of the other lines. And not having to deal with the riff raff and boozers of the other lines help too.
I would love to try the Fantasy. I hope you guys have a Wish cruise planned too! You do the best ship tours on RU-vid and I would love to see one of the Wish!
My wife and I where thinking of booking a cruise vacation for the family. After watching your videos of the Fantasy, we decided to go for it and booked our first ever cruise vacation. Love your videos
I miss Fantasy so much. She's been our cruise home away from home for a decade. We've transitioned to mostly cruising other lines, but Fantasy is where our heart is. We're on the Halloween 8-day this year and can't wait to see all our crew friends again.
We finally pulled the trigger and booked a Disney cruise - previously have only cruised Princess. Have to try Disney at least nice - 7 day Eastern Caribbean with Castaway Cay included for Sept 2023. Cannot wait!
How is that you guys don’t have your own TV travel program yet?! My wife and I really love watching your videos! We just got back from cruising on the Disney Wish and had an amazing time. We board the Fantasy next February and plan on 2026 The Treasure. Thank you David and Ben🤩
You want to really up your cruise experience, buy a waffle weave turkish bathrobe. I bought a knee-length one on Amazon, little 3/4 length sleeves. It folds flatter than a pair of shorts, and it was just the perfect thing to wear around the cabin. I could've even worn it to the pool deck. So many cute colors, not just white. Anyway, it's just something fun I thought about after my last cruise. Wanted to share. Love your content, gentlemen! She truly is a beautiful ship. Very elegant.
I just heard Disney is planning to have an Australian home port for one of its ships. I can tell you now as our closest Disneys are in Asia ( Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo) that ship is going to be booked out for months. This is the only way we can get a Disney fix in the Southern Hemisphere so Aussies and New Zealanders are going to go mad for it when it happens. Not to mention the fact that those in Asia will travel to Australia to cruise with Disney as our time zones differences aren’t so huge and in most cases there is only a 2-3 hour time difference between Australia and SE Asia and a 2 hour time difference between Australia and NewZealand less jet lag to contend with.
Happy Sunday Ben and David. You know my comments can be ridiculously long. A tour? Forget it. Will be lonnnggg. Gonna sit back, relax and enjoy. Will miss your quirky hilarious one liners. Have a great week and see you next video.
I have to say that this is probably the most amazing tour of that I’ve seen and trust me I’ve seen a lot. Videography was beautiful….great work. How did you get so much footage of what seemed like no one on board?
We've been on all four (soon to be five) Disney ships. They're each great in their own way. The footage is fabulous as per usual. Thanks for taking us back on a mini cruise!
A fantastic video of my favorite ship. Thank you for the work you put into making great videos. This one is now my all time favorite since the Fantasy is my home away from home, in my heart. 😊
Hey Ben and David! This is very cool especially for anyone who wants to take a trip on the Fantasy! Your very detailed tour is awesome! Your trip some day on the Wish comparing it to other Disney ships should really be something to see. Thanks so much and have a great rest of the day!
You should add "Find David" game to these ship tour videos. At the end of the video, tell how many times he was in a video. The challenge being finding all of his appearances. He should be easy and obvious sometimes and hard to find at other times. For the latter, he could be seated in a chair facing away and looking out a window in the shots of big areas. Or even make him harder to find by him hiding in the bushes, swimming underwater, only seen in a reflection, etc. This would result in a people watching the video multiple times. ;-)
Hello you two!! My family and I are going on the Disney Fantasy July 2024. I have a question. On the formal nights, do people dress with long evening gowns for ladies and suits for men? Thank you. I love you videos. Always very helpful! 😁
After having been on the Disney Wish on March 4th, 2024, and having tried to figure out her floor plans, confusing is a word I'll use to be nice to the designers. The Nimitz-class aircraft carriers are net as confusing as the new design. UGH!!! My ADHD Daughter was the only one that understood why it is designed like that. I was watching videos last evening and found your full tours of the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. I have to say I felt really homesick for the two ships. Really going to miss them when they are sent to other parts of the world. Ben and David, you have come a long way in the quality of your videos. Keep up the great work.
Credit to the both of you you’ve both done an amazing job. I’m very tempted to book my first ever 7 night cruise on the fantasy.. there’s very few videos showing disability and accessibility.. I’m in a wheelchair so I’m a bit nervous just incase I have any difficulty or stress.
Wow awesome video - we are going on The fantasy in October for seven days but we’re going to Mexico Jamaica castaway cay and I’m not sure what else so watching your video is really informative it was nice to actually see you the ship thank you
We are cruising on Fantasy over Thanksgiving this year and we are so excited. It will be our first cruise and I can’t comprehend how stunning this ship is. Amazing video!
Thanks Ben and David. We are headed on the same itenerary in September and I watched all of your videos for this ship last night in preparation. Thank you!
We are going on a Dis Cruise in May. Is it easy to get around the ship if you have a bad knee? I just need sometimes to sit on like a bench or something along the way. Also, with 4000 people on the ship how are there enough seats in the small dining/coffee shop areas? Is it just crowded everywhere all the time? It's hard to picture.
Yes, the whole ship is accessible. There is quite a bit of walking though so maybe a walking aid will help. Everyone is assigned a place in the dining rooms so no worry about seats there. It can get busy in other places but we find Disney people are very accommodating
everyone on the ship is doing their own thing. so usually everyone is evenly distributed around the ship and you dont have to worry about it being overcrowded.
I’m revisiting this video having just disembarked from a 7-day Fantasy trip. There are plenty of places to take a rest - benches, lounges, even many of the portholes are seats. My group had 3 generations from 2 to 70 years old. By no means is it wall to wall crowded. But there are certain times and certain places when it gets crowded - the atrium during shipwide events, theaters around showtimes, the pool deck on sunny sea days, the adults area late at night, and so forth. We only walked away from full venues twice, an adults venue late night (others had more space and we went with our second choice) and when we arrived just on time but not early to a Bingo game. The only really stressful and tough walk for the grandparents was when muster drill ended 15 minutes before the sail away party, everyone in the ship was out and had the same destination in mind. If Disney sends me a survey I’m going to recommend during those peak times they have a priority elevator queue for handicapped/elderly. Even so, due to both the demographics and Disney bubble, everyone on ship was quite kind and accommodating. Lots of “excuse me”s “oops! I’m sorry about that!” and some toddler meltdowns but everyone was on the same frequency to be kind and patient with each other.
Thrilled to have one more video about the Disney Fantasy. Thank you, Ben and David! You are our FAVORITE RU-vid channel, and we look forward to every Sunday. 🌹🌹❤
I’m sadly very late to this channel it popped up on my feed and am a great time binge watching. you two are wonderful partners so much fun to watch keep cruising 🛳️
I LOVE your RU-vid channel! Keep up the fab work, boys! (I am a new subscriber and fan as of yesterday - right after watching one of your episodes.) Have a fab day and week!!
Oh my gosh you have very talented making the video with editing very good! And it is a very beautiful ship I went on Disney Magic in 2016 with friends it was awesome! Anyway nice ship! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🫶🫶🫶❤️❤️
