I made like 35-40 div in just a couple of days at around 250-300, if you go and grab all the resonators and kill the bosses and get abit lucky it was extremely profitable. The resonators big ones was like 100c each, found 28 in 2 days, and multiple 100 of the smaller ones, and then ofc some luck on the items from the bosses, and some div cards and fossils. It is definitely profitable! it was my first time delving, so i was probably pretty inefficient xD

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” declining my trade offer repeateldy. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to buy my gilded sulphite scarabs from the currency bot i saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Incandescent invitations in his hands without paying. The Chieftan in the party was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear the Chieftan, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When the Chieftan took 15 of the Incandescent invitations and charged 15 divines, Mathil stopped him and told him to trade them each individually “to prevent any TFT RunDMC,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After he traded each Incandescent invitation individualy, he kept interrupting him by yawning really loudly.

Yea so it was an effective swig but the efficiency was super low. 1 per 2 hour 16m video for a sustained period of time won't last and will degrade the vocal chords. Need probably 3/hr long term
About 54:10, you talk about %chance for the rare fossil nodes. Under the hood we know (from datamining) that Delve has 5 tiers of nodes. Outside cities, Tier 4 is always a rare fossil, tier 3 always a map node, tier 2 has lots of variance and includes the 'triple azurite' nodes, tier 1 also varied and has 'double azurite' and tier 0 is also varied. In cities, tiers 0 and 1 cannot have bosses, tier 4 is almost always a boss unless the city already has a boss, and 2 and 3 can be either. POEDB lists them all. I believe (and this is not proven) that the game rolls 0-3 on a roll that's hugely biased by your depth, then adds 1 if the node is a dead end. I'm curious if this helps you crack it.
I've personally compared depth 1500 to depth 5k for 2 leagues in a row and found the rare fossil rate at 5k to be slightly higher at 5k than 1500 each time but not significantly enough to say for sure (like 90% vs 80%)
@@ConnerConverse How's the tier 3 nodes (maps) compare in frequency? Obviously you don't care about maps any more, POE has changed from the days where maps were loot, but they may be a useful marker.

My apologies then. A few 6k profiles were clearly rerolls like the pathfinder who's tornado shot that played eye of winter so I just assumed that was an armour stacker
Fantastic video, man! There are a few things I would add regarding the Aul's fight. • If you know (for example, because of inc. AoE) that Aul is likely to destroy some of your cacoons (more than 4 - giving him access to Hur-Nak phase), try to make him destroy them in semi-circle only on one side of the arena. This way, once he starts his Hur-nak phase, if you played it correctly and he only destroyed cacoons on one side of the arena, you still can use the other side to avoid his barrage. • The projectiles coming from destroyed cacoons towards him during the Hur-nak phase also do damage • The Hur-nak barrage is actually quite easy/doable if you have enough movement speed and do not fuck-up your whole arena. Just move towards the outside part of the arena and run in a clockwise/counterclockwise manner. Once you run into destroyed cacoons, blink over the barrage beam and run the other way. It takes some practice, but can be done • The destroyed cacoons leave Damage over Time pools on the ground, which in combination with inc AoE and greater depths can get super rippy • If you run too far from Aul, he will cast the Dash ability towards you. This does 5 - 7.8k (same for all his abilities) base damage, and 75% of this damage is physical converted to Cold. So try to keep close to him • One attack you did not mention (or maybe I just missed it) is his Abyss Slam, where he sticks his sword to the ground and veins start growing towards you covering approximately 1/4th of the arena. Once they reach the edge of the arena, it explodes Even though I have never delved so deep as you do, I was killing Auls with too low of a DMG on my ignite vortex elementalist, some fights taking up to 10+ minutes, while every single ability could kill me (so pretty much zHP meta). So yeah... you learn those abilities over time. And compared to uber pinnacle bosses, you can actually try as many times as you want for quite cheap, thanks to sulfite scarabs being so easy to get (compared to pinnacle bosses invitations, etc.)
Good content, I'm going to stick with Shallow Delving 200-300 and doing walls, since most of my raw divine drops the last 3 leagues were behind walls. I enjoy my laid back RF walking sim and watching content on second monitor. All this confirms is you guys like Rudy are fking insane going so deep and having builds that makes the rest of path look like act 1.
F for the azurite spent. But it did drive a point... I was considering getting into deep delving (been only to 500-ish so far), so this drives the point a lot.

Never would have guessed a PoE vid with tons of info on Delve with numbers and spreadsheet could have been so informative. I'm now at 35 minutes and I'll keep watching. You're presentation keeps me hooked as I'm expecting a new piece of info to come right around the corner and it does! Boneshatter Jugg is a good starting choice that can begin with limited gear and keep going fairly deep then eventually swap to something super expensive like armour stacker If you want to go the mana stacking route like I am you start mjolner then make money and swap manaforged arrows like 1k-1500

@@levivassit was capable to reach 6k but it would be a hard fight to the bottom. Manaforged arrows came out last league after I did the 5300 mjolner in sanctum and the damage is just disturbing so I'm taking that past like 1500 if I can for speed and comfort
after avoiding boneshatter for all of 3.22 this seems to be the best league start for delvers. I'd love to see a video on best potential delve league starters/league starters that can re-roll into deep delvers... after patch notes of course. @@ConnerConverse
Nice content about delve, i like to do delve, but im just a super casual delver.. i just go around 300 because i cant do the aul boss after that.. Do you know if the aul drops more frequently the amulet on high lv delve? Because this league i find 5 aul boss on super early delve (300) and get just one amulet.. i never see any information about drops

You can do a pretty simple boneshatter build. The damage will begin to feel low by like 1500 but it can make it on tankiness. Both dawnbreaker and nebuloch setup works
I want to address a misconception with the 32bit issue. You can definitely have more HP on mobs than 2billion in a 32bit game, you just need more than one variable containing health stats. Two variables can change the cap from 2^32 to a health cap of 2^32, 2^32 times (if we are staying with positive integers, that allows for 4.6 *quintillion* health in a 32bit game) . You can add a 3rd variable and so on. There is no real *code* hardcap, there is a *philosophy* hardcap. In 2014 32bit D3 you could have tens of billions of gold for this very reason. This however takes a lot of core coding changes I don't think GGG wants to fuck with especially when things are mostly sane, (d3 was a shitshow) and poe2 is on the horizon.

Current progression is my league start as mjolner then pivot manaforged with mostly the same gear and swap weapons after I farm for a bit. Mfa is definitely a high gear requirement but mjolner progress is smooth and I'm good at it after doing it several times and it farm's currency like driving a sports car with lightning warp setup. I made a 1-90 vid like 6 month ago that should all still be up to date. Unless something massive comes in 3.23 patch notes should be relevant Appreciate the recognition though

@@JorgenPOEMario's been in my chat a bit and said he did some boneshatter testing from like 6000->6300 and as expected the only real problem becomes damage. Every time Rudy had crushed with boneshatter he had large source of flat damage. Mantra of flames in lake of kalandra and then the 500% aura effect flat damage mine buff in crucible. If the league mechanic somehow gave some flat dmg scaling boneshatter can suddenly compete with armour stacker for cheaper
@@ConnerConverse my other concern could also be that we might get a nerf to boneshatter for this league because it's been the primary melee meta for a number of leagues now and I suspect after the lash back last league of the patch notes, they may retune the flat damage scaling up to max level of boneshatter or trauma at this stage. That might make going deeper harder as well. That being said, your comment about deep delve is bang on correct I'd add, it's a matter of what the player considers as deep. I'm not known necessarily for deep delving but I've always made 500 depth the target for most average players etc who follow my builds etc and beyond that is going deep.

your build hands down the best build overall which has both the highest damage and also highest defense layer that can do all the contents in the game. Can't believe you can come up with a build like this around stacking attribute and mana. Wanna try the build but surely I will never have enough currency to build min max like this
I feel like these people always take printing money for granted. Like they do things without even realizing they are doing it. Like a jumping spider chasing prey, it's just autonomic. I'm the opposite. I have to consciously think of everything and so I suck at all of it XD

Two things I didn't see mentioned: 1) How do you sustain sulphite 2) You mentioned the occasional fractured rares that sell for double digit D, what nodes do they drop at?
gilded sulphite scarabs are insanely cheap they were like 6c last league for about 12k sulphite a piece. taking niko points gives alot of niko missions this league for example, a hubris with 10% of phys taken as chaos is worth over 200d unfractured, just as a drop with that mod. drops like that come from nodes that say "chaos items" or like "minion and aura items" etc
you forgot to mention your 5 minute rare fight one shot you immediately after you killed it cause it was exploding crystals when hit but the fight went on so long that you forgot about that mod and then failed to get the loot for the delve node
A rising inflation raises all boats or something like that. I saw 17d aul helms at one point this league and 10d curiosity frags. 1d hollow fossils. 500d chaos hubris etc
For ailment cap being 800mil, I would assume that its because its 1/3 of the signed int cap. It is common in programming (especially older programs) to save data space by reusing a single data variable for different values. My thinking is that when ailments and ailment thresholds were first introduced GGG had thought of bosses having different thresholds for the 3 ailment types, cold fire and lightning, and stored those different thresholds into a single variable thus they each could only go up to 1/3 of the signed int cap.
If my target is farming - depth 600, eventually up to 1500, what would be the build recommendation? 1->600(starter, low budget), 600->1500(respec to new build / upgrade previous build as progress goes)?
You could get to 600 with most builds, even something just tanky like rf can do 600 but it would be super zdps by 1k. Boneshatter can go a bit deeper and starts to feel zdps by about 1500. If you go the mana stacking route start mjolner and that can get you all the way to 1500 or transition manaforged about that time
I have always wondered if the side sections were ever worth doing. Venturing off into the darkness looking for walls to break. I assume because of how deadly darkness becomes this is not really a thing. I have also wondered if the city nodes were ever worth doing because there never seems to be resonator boxes or fossil boxes inside. Also, you mentioned nodes at depth 600, 1000, 1500 ect become more rewarding. In what ways? If your a depth 600 gamer what nodes am I excited to see?
Which build do you suggest to go for in hc , i want to go as deep as i can . I haven’t seen anyone go super deep after archnem. But i wanna challenge myself to go as deep as possible, but need help with a build
For hc basically any jugg build will have the defensive consistency and be playable without some crazy budget. You can go boneshatter, RF will fall off hard on damage by like 600, something like reap or storm burst. That's probably your best bet. There's probably a few champion builds or like occultist poison spark that could get you to 1000

What's the point of going past 6000 if that the limit according to this? Just bragging rights? Looked up the Delve solo depth for Necropolis on poe ninja and Shitstain Steve did 62,651. Thats an absolutely insane depth.

I started getting into delve during blast from the past event and was having so much fun with it that I just kept going on same character back in standard. Only at 400 right now but I love that it actually pressures you to upgrade your build to the limit instead of sitting around on a good enough build until you get bored and quit the league. This video is super helpful, I'd love to see more stuff like this in the community for other niche mechanics that only a handful of players really understand.
The fossils that fractured and duplicated and stuff use to be where the money was at... but due to chrises dmn "VISION" those were gotten rid of. 😢 The game would be so much better if they abandoned chises spid "VISION"

Are fractured walls and prime resonators just kind of worthless to go after then? Seems kind of weird balance wise that one of the core things to explore and do is kinda useless

Very informative and still entertaining. Regarding profit, is it worth going into the cities and opening the chests, and does their content scale with depth?
One related thing I'd be interested in learning about is an analysis of builds good for the ~600, ~1500, and ~6k breakpoints you talked about. It'd be neat to know, for example, what are good builds for fossil hunting at 1500 and what the max hit and DPS requirements are there.
Based off some back calculating from the dmg/hp chart for 1500 I'd recommend a max hit of around 100k+ and 50-100m dps for 1500, and about 40-50k max hit with 10m dps for regular and 20-30m dps for bosses both with some decent amount of recovery or avoidance/mobility
I still love to watch this video from time to time to refresh my delve knowledge, but every time I watch it I laugh about the "bias thing" with mana siphoners. Becaue they are like non existent for armour stackers and do nothing. Its like number 78 on the list for me, but yes "SOUL EATERS" on delve 4k+ are a pain in the ass, especialy if they come with life regen and/or resistance against your damage, etc, etc ..... My char has 1.2 Bil DPS every time (non-crit, no bugged chest, no short time vaal skills) at minimum, but "Soul Eaters" are still the biggest problem 😞 To be clear ... soul eater doesnt kill me, but it gets too tanky to be killed !
The new armor stacker uses the fire res regen mastery paired with guardian new node for like 5k regen. The old armour stacker didn't use that and had essentially 0 passive regen so mana siphoner was scary then
