As a Light Yagami cosplayer as well, I think he is a very relatable character and I try my best to honour him by cosplaying him the best way possible. I have a relatively little collection of outfits as well, including: his school uniform, the uniform he wears at the end of the story, a red shirt, the tennis outfit, the white unbuttoned shirt coupled with black t shirt and, last but not least, black shirt and red tie. I also love the idea of making new concepts, I have worked on a Christmas version wearing a long red coat, an Halloween one, and my biggest project right now is a winged one with a scythe (the golden one often appearing in official artworks). As a Macy's worker, the navy and black can be super confusing, I agree. I think I only get it right 8/10 times when customers ask me. I normally just read the sewn in tag to see what it actually is when I can't tell myself, and it leads to both me and the customer to feel scammed sometimes, lol.

This is actually fantastic You should do this with Mello (our favorite leather goth) he has more outfits in the manga than in the anime (Mello is the hottest character in death note. No I will not be taking criticism at this time.)

(In response to 27:20) I always thought that L read their lips and that’s how he knew he was going to die - that Light wouldn’t have been that cocky unless L’s name had already been penned. Consider it… lips can misinterpreted easily so it’s hardly convicting evidence, but L knew better.
