I kind of wish they just had a place to stand or a button to push and there's some flashy lights and sounds and one of the random wands on the shelf is pushed out by mechanics behind the shelf and that's how you get your wand. Unless the shop guy picks you for she show.

I would have an Elder wand based on my birthday but my wand on Pottermore is pear wood with a dragon heartstring core 12 3/4" slightly yielding...also a Hufflepuff, also knew before Pottermore and like 5 different tests confirmed 😅

Here in Australia we have a sport called AFL football or can be called footy, there are 18 teams and I go for hawthorn my birthday is in May when the wand is a hawthorn wand. Which I think is really cool for my birthday to be the same thing as my wand :)

Why do they specialize in only wands and why can’t I just buy a wand of of ets why is this specialty occult shop so special? Potter head: you don’t get it do you Occultist aka mage: No I don’t. Potter head: have you watched any Harry Potter movie. Occultist: No what is that sounds like a Sasquatch trying to do pottery? Potter head drives to his/her house grabs all seven books drives back to the occultist’s house slams book into the occultists arms. Occultist: Alright I guess I have some reading to do seven books ah I get through this in a day. Day later Occultist: The books were not bad. Potter head: really you liked it. Occultist: it was ok. Occultist: however I think staves are better.

Guys, if you don't like the wand that was linked with your birthday, that's ok. According to the workers in the shop, your wand is also what fits your personality. So let's say that you're a sensitive person, that means that your wand is the Ollivander's Original Elder Wand.
