20:00 One of the first things Lucy tells Wilzig is that she's looking for her dad, and tells him her dad was kidnapped by Muldaver. Wilzig is trying to deliver the cold fusion tech to Muldaver, so he likely knew who her father was as part of the plan.

I love how Lucy represents so well people when they are first introduced into the Fallout universe. Lucy - "Is that a Knight!? Wow!" *A few episodes later* Lucy - "Wait, aren't the Brotherhood the good guys?" The Brotherhood - "Well, about that..."

Maximus thinking Fiends were cannibals was intentional and not a lore mistake. You can tell he is talking out of his ass which is something he does often. Recall back to the classroom when he couldnt identify technology. The show often implies he is sheltered, indoctrinated, and slow to catch on. Maximus made the mistake. Not the writers

I felt the funniest subtle nod to the games is when the scribe empties his 10mm pistol at two people and doesn’t hit a thing. 😂

Hank not "recognizing" the "Overseer of Vault 32" eludes to the fact that the entirety of Vault 31 is a storage facility for popsicle Overseers waiting to be thawed in an order chosen before the bombs dropped.

the "ghoul cure" is not a cure, its radaway. You can clearly see that Maximus administers the same yellow fluid to Lucy to treat her radiation sickness, he also refers to the medicine as Radaway. It appears to be a new bit of lore added to the world that ghouls need to constantly take radaway to stave off going feral, as we know that radiation is what makes Ghouls feral.

Lucy and maximus with the whole "pop like a pimple" thing. Makes sense in character. Lucy is awkwardly social while Max is socially awkward. Both have no idea how to handle emotions and feelings. Max was raised as a child to be a soldier and knows nothing else. Lucy was raised to be bred. Sex is just sex to her, nothing else. They are both learning to be well... human.

The Ghoul didn't wing against Maxiumus because he didn't have Armor Piercing round. In the last episode the camera even zoomed intk the bullet to show what type of ammo he is using.

I remember thinking back when Django Unchained came out that “that one bad guy has a really great walk”. Still stands, Walton has an instantly identifiable walk and I knew it was him immediately. I hope he gets all the work he wants and lives a happy, full life.

Dunno if it's been mentioned or not but lucy mentions to the ghoul that she rememebers the great plague of '77 in the vault with her mum and dad. She also mentioned she was convinced as a kid in the vault farms she could feel the sun. Im guessing what she actually rememebrs is a plauge of shady sands since she was there very young. That would explain the "fall of shady sands" before the nuke hit a few years later

- The Ghoul realized that Maximus was a beginner who didn't even know how to use Power Armor properly, so it makes sense that he didn't take the fight 100% seriously and didn't reveal important information like the flaw in the design of power armor in the middle of a city - Not using the Helmet Flashlights was really stupid but we can say it was panic - Hank already knew in advance that the previous Overseer who was from Vault 31 had "died during the harvest blight" so it makes sense that he wouldn't have suspected a resident unknown from Vault 32 was elected in the meantime

I think the first time Cooper saved CX-404 was purely to use her to track Wiltzig’s head, then started warming up to her once we saw more flashbacks.

Not sure if you saw ox but Jonathan Nolan and Todd Howard just had their first interview after the premiere aired and confirmed that the “fall of shady sands” is separate than the nuke launching stating that the nuke launched shortly after the end of new Vegas

How many people are just now discovering this channel after all these years? It's an absolute treasure trove of Fallout deep dives and great narration.

I think most people are missing the nuance around the awkward Lucy/Max 'flirting' in vault 4. It's to show that the apocalypse doesn't just destroy physical civilization, it also destroys social civilization. The two characters don't know how to flirt, it's not a part of either of their factions. Vault 31 has arranged marriages and I think it makes sense that they treat sex more like a tool to repopulate/sustain the vault and that's why they're so open about it. Then Max being ignorant about the details of sex shows how a lack of proper education can really affect peoples conception of 'basic' things and it might also be playing into the religious nature of the brotherhood. As for the scene itself, it starts with Max saying 'you smell nice' to Lucy, likely just making an observation since he probably hasn't smelled many nice things in the wasteland. Lucy is confused at first but thinks back to her vault education and she says "oh"(she clearly comes to the conclusion that Max is flirting with her) and so she proceeds to ask about sex. She's been shown to be a very blunt and open person so that all tracks for me. The dialog is definitely awkward and 'cringe' but I think that's the point. Think about how awkward you were the first time you talked to someone you were attracted to. Then multiply it by 1000 because of a lack of education, massively diverging social structures, and the literal apocalypse. Max does come off like he's 'high' on something but I think that also makes sense, though the actor may have played it up a little too much. He's been living with the brotherhood for at least a decade now, he's never had 'nice' food or anything like that(maybe as a small kid in shady sands but he was like 6 when that got nuked so he wouldn't remember much). He's clearly overwhelmed by everything and not thinking strait, which again makes sense to me. Overall I think there are plenty of little things to nit pick about, including in that scene, but I think most people are missing the point of the scene as well.

I thought the power armor was a plot hole too until I realized that the ghoul uses special bullets when he fights the brotherhood in the final scene whereas versus Max he doesn't

I love how the show highlights what perks and Special points each character might have. Examples being; Cooper with Bloody mess & Cannible, Lucy having Lone Wanderer, and Maximus have Idiot Savant.

Honestly, the conversation in Vault 4 really put Maximus in perspective for me. It really solidified for me the fact that “oh yeah, he’s a child soldier raised in a weird military cult primarily surrounded by other weird maladjusted child soldiers. He’s never talked to a civilian woman as a grown man who he’d be physically attracted to.” And Lucy, I mean “cousin stuff was alright as kids but obvs that’s unsustainable” lol she’s basically been groomed to be a breeder and is overly blunt about sex. Also this is the first time since each of them left their factions that they felt safe. I can see their bodies switching from fight or flight right into rest and naturally feeling drawn to each other. Maximus has been obviously crushing on Lucy in a childish “pretty girl” way and I can imagine Lucy seeing him as her hero and recognizing him as good breeding stock because of his physical prowess.

The best line in the show for me was “Now, that right there is the closest thing we've had to an honest exchange so far.”

The ghoul knew full well that max wasn't a trained person, so he was just playing around,living for 200 years makes you want unique forms of entertainment.

Just because shady Sands is destroyed, doesn’t mean the NCR is completely destroyed and it would kind of make sense why the NCR had so much trouble getting supplies in new Vegas!

The guy who never went to filli, was smarter than he looked. Sure he was not the best catch, but a girl in the wasteland that doesn't shoot first? That's a keeper. Gotta at least try.

The reason Hank doesn't recognize Moldaver and isn't alarmed might be because it's established Vault 31 residents, while being VT employees, might not know each other all that well. Hank was pretty low on the totem pole. Also it's established they are thawed sequentially to oversee V32 and 33. He could expect she was just a recent thaw, to replace the old V32 overseer.

Regarding Hank MacLean not recognizing Modaver - i was always under the impression that Moldaver wasn’t born in the vault, wasn’t part of the Vault 31, 32, 33 Vault experiments. She invaded or took over one of the vaults. MacLean fully expected to recognize the Overseer when his daughter was married off, but his confused look was because he had no idea who she was or where she came from.

in "that scene": max says "you smell good." lucy know she's been days out in the wasteland, far from anything resembling a hot shower or soap. she even smells herself for a second. then she realizes that "you smell good." is max responding to her pheromones. being a smart, liberated vault dweller, she jumps to the correct conclusion that he's attracted to her and figures that they could just as easily pass the quarantine time by banging one out as they could just sitting there twiddling thumbs. but the Brotherhood's celibacy propaganda has its hooks too deep into max's mind

I think the meeting happened before 2076 and RobCo hadn’t bought Repconn yet. Because they were just discussing Bud’s Buds and I feel like developing Vault 31-32-33 would take quite some time.

17:48 oysters are considered an aphrodisiac and considering that Maximus is a young lad who never had sex this scene makes sense. And well - you are SUPPOSED to cringe at this. It's intentionally written to show how weird and naive they are. How open for sex Lucy is is already hinted at in the first episode where she just says okey dokey and is not weirded out by her new husband

Oxhorn seems to be imagining a lot of stuff while watching instead of just paying attention to the show tbh 😅 Most of the alleged "plot holes" are stuff Oxhorn imagines without having no basis for it. From a gas chamber in the waiting room of vault 4 to a chip that gives superpowers. There is nothing in the show that indicates any of that. The scientist knows a lot of stuff because he escaped with the chip as part of the plan. He did not learned anything from a terminal, because you didn't saw him in a terminal learning that stuff. He knows about Lucy and the vault 33 because it is connected to the plan. The thing about the power armor flaw and the ghoul, is that it is his first time fighting a T-60. The ghoul was already surprised a knight showed up there in the first place and was almost out of meds, so he didn't thought about the flaw at all. At the end of the show, he doesn't actually wonder about the flaw, he already knows is there. He had time to think about it while remembering his past life, so he is completely lucid and ready to fight them. None of the T-60 soldiers thought about using the head lamps because they were in panic. They just saw him one-shot a power armor. Hank not being able to recognize the Moldaver is not a plot hole either. Moldaver is not form Vault 31 and Hank was transferred some 22-25 years before the show starts. He doesn't know all the people in Vault 32 and he doesn't know Moldaver is from somewhere else. Maximus was raised by the BOS, he was taught that fiends are like that. Maximus doesn't know much about most things of the wasteland. Is completely understandable that he has wrong information about fiends. RobCo and Repconn in the same table is not a plot hole either. Rob-Co bought Repconn after the meeting. Is not that complicated. Also, Shady Sans being destroyed in 2277 is not a plot hole either. Shady Sands was one major city of the republic, but there other one's. it doesn't contradicts anything. About the bombs, the bombs didn't dropped at the same time. There is nothing more to it. The ghoul meds being a pre-war drug might be a coincidence. Like many drugs today that were developed with a purpose and ended up solving an entirely different thing. It is not a problem at all. The power armor flying like that is for comedy effects. It is not bad CGI at all. The motion blur with lens flares is perfect. Of course cyclops doesn't "ring true", dude, it's a cyclops, they don't really exist. Hank is also older in this show than in Twin Peak. He was 31 in Twin Peak, but in Fallout he is 50-55 yro. At the end nothing on the show is a mistake. Everything is intentional and well thought out. The show clearly had to pass so many revisions, iterations and editing that nothing you see could be casual. They putted a ton of effort on the script and the production and it shows.

34:02 - The statement "there's no cure" is true. In the show the drug doesn't cure "feral ghoul" because they need to take those drugs multiple times. The drugs just suppress the symptoms for a while. (Symptoms = turning into a feral ghoul)

What I really like is Hank Mclean is pretty much a Fallout protagonist of his own story. Man leaves vault to find wife, ends up blowing up an entire city and killing his wife in the process. I also believe he left the vault genuinely out of love for Lucy's mother and the background behind his decision to destroy the city is a lot more murky than what was laid out by Muldaver and it has to do with "the fall" of shady sands that preceded the destruction of it.

The “Icecream Socials” is a reference to the fact that bars went legit and became ice cream parlors during prohibition. This meant they became the main legal social gatherings for a generation prior to wwii and that love of ice cream Carried over into the 1950s when the troops came home. Fallout being a futuristic 1950s… this make sense to me.

People who praise this show, just didn't play the original games. There's simply NO WAY someone who DID would disgorge affirmations like "The showrunners achieved to tell a story thats faithful to the lore of the games". Jesus christ

When Max says Lucy smells good she suggests having sex because it's shown as a casual thing in Episode One when she talks about 'cousin stuff', so to her it's no big deal, like playing a game of caravan. Max's response is also character development showing how naïve and indoctrinated he is, I found the scene pretty funny. Also when Max is acting weird later and asks Lucy if she wants to have sex it's because he's been eating oysters which he describes as making him feel really weird because they are famously known as an aphrodisiac.

My girlfriend who has never played a fallout game in her life, saw the timeline and took it as the fall of shady sands was a different event than the mushroom cloud. That’s how timelines work. The canon is perfectly intact 😌

I liked the weird sex conversation for two reasons. First when you know Lucy's vault, they are basically raised to be breeders, thats why she is so comfortable about being blunt and casual incest with her cousins at the beginning. And for Maximus its hilarious because thats either the rumors or teachings of those raised in the Brotherhood to keep them celebate and pure for their mission. Its wacky cult stuff and it was weird and hilarious.

Max wasn’t around many women growing up

9:34 In 1 of Tim Cain's popcast/youtube videos, he pointed out that villager's hunchback posture & movement looks exactly like the villagers in FO1, and internally the dev team called them "Losers". When he asked Jonathan Nolan (or was it Graham Wagner?) about it, that was apparently not planned, so in Tim's head canon, the actor who played the villager is a hugh Fallout fan since FO1, and he improv it. I would love to believe that's the case, showing how much those involved in this show actually love the games too.

Fun Fact: The character Oxhorn calls an NPC because he's never been over the hill right next to his house, that guys goofy walk was improved by the actor himself because he was a big fan of Fallout 1 and that's how the NPC's around Shady Sands used to walk around. It's confirmed in a Tim Cain video.

I dont think the ghoul revived dog meat because he was reminded of his own dog. He immediately said, let's go find your dad... because you know, dogs are known for tracking scents and knowing what their owner smells like.I thought it was a moment of humanity at first too, until he said that.

I'll headcanon Cooper remembering the power armor weaknesses is because he went on that anti feral drug bender and his brain recovered enough to remind him of that He's 200+ years old.. i can bet that memory might need some effort and external stimuli to come back out

The enclave scientist knew all about Lucy's vault, AND her name, because he was involved with Muldaver in getting the tech out, and knew about the need for a vault tech exec with the code, hence, he knew all about that vault and when Lucy said she was after her Dad, of course he knew her name too.

Hank Maclean got help from the Enclave to destroy Shady sands. He told them about his vault. The Enclave used this info in their plans to rebuild the wasteland in the future with a docile unmutated population. Hank had to give them something. Possibly, he gave them the cold fusion as well. ( He knew he had to unlock it, so he had insurance)

One theory I have about the “one-shot power armor plot hole” Is that: it’s mentioned twice that the power armor maximus was in possession of is that it had “the tempered lining” Tempering is a type of heat treatment used to toughen certain metals, maybe it was this tough lining that stopped the ghoul from killing him?

I think the Ghoul was just fucking with Maximus in Filly because during the entire fight hes laughing like a madman which is a common trait for chaarcters played by his actor

I think the 2277 thing was a mistake in the show itself , it is stated that the bombs fell 12 years prior to the show , which is in 2296 , meaning that the bombs had to have dropped in 22284

Lucy's euphoria is caused by having ultimate shelter. Max's euphoria was caused by having unlimited food. It says a lot about their characters.

Maybe repconn is at that meeting with its own representative because that scene takes place before repoconn was bought by Robco.

The weak point in the armor is not a plot hole. The ammo that he used to exploit that weakness was something he got at Super Duper Mart, so he could not have used that against Maximus because he did not have the nuclear bullets.

I'm honestly so happy for you and your channel rn. I haven't watched your videos in a while but I always remembered them fondly. With Bethesda taking so much time between games nowadays, I felt that your channel and the hype around the fallout universe would eventually fade out. I'm so glad that the show is amazing and that it brings so many people to the fallout universe yet again (restarted Fallout 4 a couple days ago myself!), and to your fantastic videos ! I think the cringy dialogue makes sense, max probably didn’t have any sexual education and the addition of poor social skills lead to that dialogue and Lucy was raised to be a breeder so sex isn’t sacred or anything

One kinda minor "change" I appreciated from the games is how a lot of the wildlife generally looked normal. Never been a huge fan of the whole "all the wildlife is irradiated and mutated" element of the games. They all simply look smelly and in constant pain. Simply having a two headed cow here or completely normal chickens was refreshing. After all, as bad as the Great War was, not every piece of the world was irradiated.

My understanding was that the goul was testing out the new armer what it can handle and what it couldn’t but say that it still has the same issue the roaches almost figured out the weakness to the t60 throw

One of my favorite subtle references is every time a character is “wandering” or exploring, one of the old timey iconic songs plays, just like in the game, when you are exploring, that’s when you are most likely listening to the radio, thought that was a great subtle reference.

The ghoul drug could be a pre-war drug. Many current irl drugs that were developed for one thing only to later be used for another. A perfect example is Ozempic was a diabetic drug, and is now used for weight loss. Trazadone originally designed as an anti depressant is now used to aid specific types of insomnia. It is entirely conceivable that the ghoul drug was found to affect ghouls long after the war happened.

The fall of shady sands and the Nuke dropping on shady sands were 2 different events, the confusion could’ve been avoided had they added a year under the mushroom cloud showing it is two separate events

He saves the dog because the dog can lead him to his 'bounty'.

Repconn was sold in late 2076. The prewar story shown in the show is probably some years before the bombs dropped. In that case it makes sense that repconn would still be an independent company.

I love how this strongly hints the railroad and institute endings aren't cannon

Shady Sands fell in 2277, but didn't get nuked until after New Vegas... confirmed by Bethesda... there's no date attached to the mushroom cloud.

Just quickly, the plot hole of the scientist with the chip in is head I think is explained through moldavers story and Lucy’s mother. Because moldaver and Lucy’s mom are shown to have been friends. Even if moldaver didn’t live in vault 31,32, or33 im sure Lucy’s mom would have told her about the vault and her daughter. And we know that the scientist purposely escaped to bring the device to moldaver, which means they were in contact. I wouldn’t be surprised if after moldaver takes Hank, she tells the scientist to leave and try to find hanks daughter, knowing it would lead to revelations for Lucy and her mother. That’s how I understood it

The ghoul didn't want to kill Max so he used regular ammo. Not a plot hole at all. Hank most definitely didn't recognize the 32 ppl but he couldn't reveal that. He had to play dumb. Also obviously not a plot hole.

The sliding doors on the cars were unnecessary. No one would have said anything. But when I saw that, I knew how much dedication everyone had on this show. You go out of your way to do something that shows up at the bottom of a frame for two seconds. Seriously amazing.

Just a note on one of the smaller "flaws" pointed out: In today's real world, it is not unusual for one corporation to swallow up another (making them a subsidiary), but STILL have them identify as a separate entity for business purposes -OR- PARTICULARLY for governmental reasons. Case and point: I work for a company purchased by another larger company. The company I work for, and the company that owns the company I work for both have different contracts with different states, there are even states where we both have contracts. For legal/regulatory reasons, we are considered legally distinct entities, and there is information that is legally required to be kept separate as well (we can't just merge our databases or store them even on the same server, even though we are owned by the parent company). I say all this, because you pointed out that it was flawed to include a company that was previously bought up by RobCo... And realistically, I don't think it's that odd at all. They would still have potentially useful perspectives that RobCo proper might not. Again, you stated it as a small flaw, but with perspective this doesn't seem like a flaw at all. (None of this is to negate other flaws you point out, just addressing this one).

I know this came out before the todd interview, but, it’s worth noting that the fall of shady sands happens WELL BEFORE THE NUKE

28:46 NO, it says Shady Sands FELL in 2277, and THEN a nuclear explosion happened. I'd assume very shortly after, or it would specify a date. But it could have been 5-10 years later when say, it was resettled, or something. To be fair, I think it's silly for them to do this. Why not just make it freakin 2295 or something. Why conflict with existing timelines? They CLEARLY did their research and knew it would conflict.

The "cure" for ghouls going feral could be as simple as they discovered a common prewar drug. Happens all the time where a pre-existing drug finds a new use.

About Wilzig's knowledge, I think it makes sense that he knows this. He has ties to Moldaver, and Moldaver knows about vault 33. vault 33 is an important point in the NCR timeline after all. It makes sense that he has special interest in vault 33.

I rewatched this show, and the whole ghouls needing chems to keep from turning feral makes sense. The ghoul Rodger that was fighting to keep from turning said, it's been 28 years since I first started turning...meaning feral. So he didn't need drugs until after he started showing signs of turning feral. The ghoul lore hasn't changed. Fallout 4 has Rachel the ghoul that went out looking for a cure to keep from turning feral, and she failed and committed suicide

I just want to know how Max killed a Yao Guai with one shot from a 10mm pistol. Must've been a legendary high level pistol or something

The overseer (Hank) knew who Moldaver was ( I think ) - he was just playing innocent to not blow his own cover.

Repconn at the meeting makes sense considering the meeting happened years before 2077. The vaults were just being discussed and Cooper wasn’t divorced yet. My head canon has House leaving that meeting and starting his preparations eventually buying Repconn in 2076

The sex conversation was perfectly in character for both. I don't know why you were uncomfortable with it, but it was really funny and didn't really catch me by surprise. It expressed both the characters' relationships to sex

16:23 I love Cooper Howard, and something I really appreciated to show hes not just completely heartless in the show was how he reacted to his friend that was turning into a feral Ghoul. He didnt just shoot him straight away, he wanted his friend to die remembering a nice memory. The BlamCo mac and cheese and pie, he still has a heart and still cares about people deep down. I hope by season 2 with his treck to New Vegas with Lucy he becomes more like himself before the war

The 2277 and nuked bit, as was pointed out by someone, seems to indicate that the NCR was beginning its downfall then. And then the arrow pointing to the mushroom cloud can indicate a passage of time. The 'Fall of Shady Sands' can indicate the beginning of a decline, not necessarily its nuking.

I've been waiting for your take. I'm glad you liked it. Many fans of the older games seem to take issue with the show. A couple of possibilities to answer your plot holes: 1. When Coop talks about the flaw in the Power Armour, he loads a specific type of ammo. He didn't have that in his gun when he first met Maximus. 2. The Brotherhood in the show seem to operate on propaganda. That's a common thing. Maximus was probably TOLD that fiends were cannibals. The SHOW tells us that the woman wanted the Pip Boy, not ass jerky. 3. While the list you displayed DOES show a short list, Vault 31 had A LOT of cryo tubes. And no one said they all went into the tubes as a unit. It stands to reason that Hank doesn't know everyone, but trusts the process enough to assume it's a pre war person. The problem is that it's repeatedly stated that THIS woman is known by everyone, pre and post War. 4. They put a big arrow and question mark on why Wilzig knew so much about 33. It was far too pointed to think that they just did it accidentally. I have to assume they'll answer that mystery eventually.

The ghoul was out of ammo for the hand cannon when he fought Maximus in Filly. That is why the ghoul wasn’t able to kill him in that scene.

He first saved the dog, so he could use it to track. Not because he cared.

As for the plot holes 1. The ghoul recognized how terrible maximus was at using power armor so he was toying with maximus for fun. 2. After the ghoul one shot that bos member all of them were visibly afraid. Their superiority complex was shattered and they were panicking. Wouldn't be surprised if they couldnt think straight due to the ghouls psychological warfare tactics

For the ghoul serum, I believe the super duper mart was harvesting a serum from the ghouls which is why they were locked up. Which is also why coop killed his old ghoul buddy.

I see alot of people cringing at the lucy maximus exchange, but i feel like it was setup so well? She was established very early on to be very sexually active- even with relatives. Other characters joined her in the conversation, implying that sex was a very casual thing to them. Max grew up with mostly, if not only, religious fanatical men with very low education. It makes sense that he would believe that orgasm was your penis literally exploding- he also denied the proposition because his religious morals were against it. I thought it was perfectly setup.

Maximus said the bombs fell 12 years ago, the show takes place in 2296, so that would mean shady sands was actually destroyed in 2284. Update: Todd Howard confirms Shady Sands was destroyed after New Vegas and the fall is in reference to another event.

Todd clarified in an IGN interview that Shady Sand was destroyed after the events in New Vegas.

Don't know why people are so hung up on the fate of Shady Sands according to the chalkboard. The Fall does not mean Destruction. Plus, it's been confirmed by the creators

To me, the dialog between Lucy and Max showed the vault dwellers have a pragmatic open view of sex while the brotherhood of steel, like a monastic order of knights, seem to be celibate so aren't really taught about sex (though I also like the failed dialog check option presented below).

The Brotherhood and their strange new culture is what really fascinates me. *The West Coast Brotherhood "synthesized" and combined with Caesar's Legion.* Maximus? Titus? Thaddeus? Quintus? All names you'd hear assigned to Legion raised individuals. In older games, members would have either regular American sounding names or older names like Rhombus (FO1), Ashur (FO3), and Cyrus (FO:BOS). They were never Latin/Roman, they would always be other kinds of languages like Greek, Sumerian, and Persian origin. The use of advanced tech like Power Armor can be easily explained as being reserved for veterans and proven warriors, just like in the Legion were only Centurions and veteran members were allowed to wield advanced tech. Most of the squires have weaker and less advanced gear and equipment. They also apply more religious and ritualistic activities, like the branding of squires and all the other pseudo-religious hogwash that we see in the show. This could be a way of reinstilling the same zealotry that Legionnaires upheld when serving Caesar. Also, just like how the Legion erased identities of the tribes it would conquer, the Brotherhood erased the Legion but only in name. They retained a lot of what the Legion would be known for or at least would very likely accept as customs. It was Legion Remnants that synthesized with the Western BoS. It’s how they got so strong on West Coast again. It’s how they have a Base on the Utah Salt Flats (Legion Territory) As the BoS they remove advanced technology from everyone else, they are forced to adapt or die. The Red and Gold BoS Banners, the Latin names…the Cultish Clerics. Quintus even calls his forces a “Legion” not a Chapter. When Elder Cleric Quintus says “we used to rule the Wasteland” he is talking about Caesar’s Legion. The “New Brotherhood” he talks about making? It’s the fulfillment of Caesar’s dreams. *The 88th Tribe. The Greatest of both Parties and the Removal of Weakness. A synthesized Legion.*
