I’m so interested in this as a life career…. I feel so connected to this. I’ve never been scared of death and always have thought of it as beautiful. I hope I can do this one day!

I’m a nurse and they used to call me the angel of death when I was worked on a general medical ward years ago, it was like patients choose their passing while under my watch. I truly believe that people feel your genuine compassion and know that they will be in safe hands, even in their unconscious state. I always felt very blessed to be part of the patients passing, even though it is emotionally and physically tough. I have also had many family and friends who have asked me to nurse them at home in their last days and I have felt honoured to be asked. I think there are defiantly certain people that have that certain natural ability to help those who are in end stages of dying to feel a calmness, security, trust and compassion. :) x it’s a privilege to be there when someone’s life comes to an end. It’s powerful and beautiful experience to share those last moments and to care for that person after death, to respect that person dignity, to treat them with love and respect.

Hi Melissa! I found your comment and wanted to reach out to you after finding that you are a Death Coach. I have always felt comfortable in and around the presence of death and since I was 16 I have dreamed of becoming a End of Life Doula, but never ever knew where to start. Could we connect further? I am hoping to connect with a mentor who can help guide me in this process of accomplishing my dream of becoming a Death Doula. Love and light to you! - voldimmoral

Death is just a passage, a transfer into a much more beautiful world. I hope you found eternity in your heart that God put there for us to look for. I hope you found most of the answers we can still find here on earth. Those who believe in God, have no real fear of death because it is just a doorway to another, eternal world where there is no more pain or tears, no loneliness, where there is a real home that we long for deep inside. I wish you a beautiful passage into the bosom of God. My mom died of cancer and I was holding her hand in her last hours helping her to go thru this experience without fear. It was a very difficult experience and yet very complete and I feel she had a very good death with all her loved ones around her. I wish I have such death as her. At home, surrounded by people close to you.

This makes a lot of sense because your preparing for your death and it almost gives power to the person who’s dying and controlling a lot of the lead up and even after your death

I'm half way through the training to become a certified death doula in Ireland. I've been drawn to this for years. I'm a Writer who sat at a lot of death beds and can be present, and witness without hysteria or reaction. It's an honour to be in the state of grace of the passing of a soul from physical to duality with the One.

John 3:16 King James Version 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life Jesus died to pay for our sins and make us right with the father and spend eternity with him. Christ conquered death and the grave. That's the the greatest news any human can accept especially on a death bed 😊❤️🙏🏿 Romans 10:9-10 King James Version 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

@SheilaG971 5 месяцев назад
Octavia, it’s not weird. It’s just being the best friend that you can have because there are no barriers to conversation, emotions and hurt feelings. They are just there…ever present..and neither one of you feels sorry for the other. Such peace.

So this is just the job of a regular priest?
@ultravioletpisces3666
@ultravioletpisces3666 Год назад
No
@channyl252
@channyl252 Год назад
No. It’s not a religious focus. It’s a support person to help you die the way you want to die!!
@emeraldcoastgardensfl7323
@emeraldcoastgardensfl7323 Год назад
No. A priest typically would concern themselves with honoring the religious traditions of a specific faith. And would likely try to correct or bring back into line any concerns of the parishioner wanting to explore outside of that faith.
