I can't believe that it's now been an entire decade since Roy E. Disney passed away on December 16, 2009. No celebrity passing has crushed my soul as much as when Roy left our world 10 years ago now. Here is a wonderful interview of Roy with my favorite living famous person Leonard Maltin. Taken from Disc 2 of Walt Disney Treasures: On the Front Lines, which I found out recently was Mr. Maltin's personal favorite Walt Disney Treasures. Stay tuned on Wednesday for a video related to that!

He gave a clear precise honest no holds barred talk on shareholders meeting, that too being owner head of the company, he did not shirk from all the shortcomings, and to all, that is the type of people I like very much.

Roy seemed very genuine. He was kind of a combination between his dad and Walt.

If Roy saw how Disney had become today Roy will be furious.

I agree, I really wish he was still here, Iger is FAR worse than Eisner’s later years, as awful as some of the choices Eisner made during his last half decade or so were.

@@ryanstreasures2491 Thanks. I remember when I found out that Roy E. Disney had died. I was crushed. I remember seeing him introduce the behind-the-scenes of several Disney films I saw as a kid, like The Lion King and Fantasia, and always being drawn in by his warm, welcoming voice. I would have loved to meet him and see what stories he had to tell. Seeing this interview definitely brought back the warmth I felt whenever he spoke and I thank you for uploading this interview.
