The solar lights work the same as normal ones you just switch them on once and they will turn on when it’s dark x

You don't need to keep turning those solar lights on and off every time, you can just turn them on and leave them on constantly, they will come on every night and turn off and charge up during the day x

For the mirror, if you don’t want to take it down and mess about with it, you could put a floating shelf slightly below it, and then pop things like little plants and pictures on the shelf to disguise the bottom edge 🤞🏻

Be careful when hanging your keys up. Make sure they're not too close to your door because some people can hook through your letter box and get your keys out xx

Use the tangled fairy light in a glass vase as decoration on the garden table for when it gets dark. Charge them in the day by removing them and putting the solar panel in the sun and then pop them in vase when it starts to get dark. If you have a longer garden table you could do a few of them and it should look nice as well as give a bit of light xx

The solar lights turn on upside down cos the sensor is now in the dark 😂 when they are the right way up, with your house lights on, the lights switch off as it’s ‘day time’

Hey soph! The solar lights switch on and off sometimes because they are either pointed towards the light or away from it/ covered or in the shade. So if you point the solar panel towards your light it should switch off and likewise if you even cover it with your hand it mimics the dark of night time and will switch on ! Literally have the same thing with some solar lights I put up today! Hope that helps 😊

For the lights in your garden, I can recommend camping lights. They won’t be as pretty or solar, but they will actually provide some decent light

Mustard/sunny yellow and navy look so cute together. I've mixed them with burgundy before (really love this combo), and forest green another time. For the string lights, cut a piece of thick cardboard down to ~8"x12" and wrap them around the cardboard. When you go to hang them only unwrap a little bit from the cardboard at a time so there isn't enough to tangle. It helps to have two people so one can hold the cardboard while you hang lights. The bulb ones are called cafe lights and they make some that are pretty bright. Most outdoor standing lanterns look beautiful but don't give much light. Installing good quality porch lights with warm light bulbs worked much better for us, and we supplement those with the pretty lanterns. I also have paper star lanterns for party decorations that are easy to hang and take down. Unfortunately I got them at the end of summer 2019 so I've only used them once!

For the mirror, using a bit of poster putty (sort of like sticky play dough) on the part you need raised on the back holds the mirror in a spot where it doesn’t look wonky anymore without having to drill more holes.

I’m no diy expert but I would fill the drill holes in with polly filler, re-drill the holes and use a spirit level to make it straight. I’d level it using the straight edge at the bottom. Hope this helps! Great video btw 😊

For the mirror purchase a ready mixed wall filler. Fill in the hole and allow to dry, once dry sand it down so it’s flat and put a bit of paint that match’s the wall over it. You’ll be able to re-drill holes at that point without having the original holes left behind. I would advise going a little bit above where you had originally drilled and to get the the same hight hold something like a leveller up in place and drill whilst holding it straight xx

Love the puzzle for Pinky! I can totally recommend the kong wobbler and other treat toys. My dog has all of her food out of toys, so it helps wear out her brain a little bit! Might not work if Pinky isn’t totally food motivated, but a great way to challenge pups -especially when the weather is horrible and they can’t go outside much.

We've just purchased some garden furniture from White stores. It's a bit pricey but the quality it really good. We got a corner rattan sofa set with 3 stools and an adjustable table. So comfortable!! Xx

You can use command strips for your mirror, they are great and it’s a lot easier to get them level and saves you having to drill holes in your walls.

I had the same wonky mirror issue 😅 you can usually unscrew one of the hangy clip things on the back of the mirror and move it a bit higher/lower to fix the wonk.

You can put a little bit of tape on the nail, so the mirror kinda leans on the tape, that can make up the difference. Love you! Hope this works for you😊

Dunelm for garden furniture! Their stuff goes out of stock constantly but I've found if you check regularly in the mornings that's the best time to grab stuff. I recently bought a rattan garden set from there for like £200 for a sofa seat, 2 chairs and a table and it looks great!

In my experience, solar powered lights don’t give off much light (especially ones from b&m etc). I just got normal plug in outdoor fairy lights and fed the lead through the kitchen window. Just like you would at Christmas ☺️

Regarding the wonky mirror, if it’s not too wonky you might be able to keep the screws where they are. If you get a hammer you can tap one up toward the ceiling so it’s angled down and tap the other towards the floor so it’s angled upwards. Hope that makes sense. Sometimes the fixings in the back of mirrors aren’t hung at the same height. So I had a wonky one as well that I fixed how I described.

I would like to suggest whn christmas rolls around to gather LED string lights then bc you can get them in any color or like any tone of white for cheep i did this for lights around my bed i got 4 boxes of 6ft string light 2 in purple 2 in pink and strung them around my bed frame and they look super pretty

Them ones you stick in the ground.... You don't have to keep switching them on and off each day, they just come on by themselves when it goes dark. The switch is just their for winter I think for when you store them away. The one that didn't work the right way up in your house is because it sensed it wasn't dark then when you turned it upside down it became darker so it switched on. Love watching your videos XxX
