Really enjoyed the video. Right now the only thing I am missing is JS, hoping your channel will help fill in the void. I do have a couple of questions regarding this. Question one - how do I load this once it comes into view on the screen? And second, how do I insert a comma after the three zeros (1,000)? If you could let me know that would be awesome. Great job!

count variable will never have the value 1. You need to initialize it to 0. Also, set the timer in setInterval to 10 and in setTimeout to 10000 for perfect results.

sir, shouldn't we clear the setInterval after our task is done using clearInterval? Doesn't it affect the website speed?

Thanks Bro! Edit: But it depends on the computer speed. If it is fast, then the "Followers on Instagram!" will render after when the 1000 completes and vice versa for slow speed.

I have downloaded the "proj1_lyst1313,zip" file from "Learn Code Online ". But when I am trying to open it in visual studio , the "index.html" file is showing this message " The file is not displayed in the editor because it is either binary or uses an unsupported text encoding". How can I solve this??? I am windows user.

This is just super slow, I have a previous experience but learning js took about 2 hours of a crash course and 3 days of practice to get comfortable with js. I thought to use your series for learning but one video and that too covering small topics is useful. It's just dragging something to make more videos. The content js good but the speed is super slow. I mean if anyone has previous experience, it shouldn't take more than a week to understand js and then move to react.

Everyone is different. It's important to really grasp these fundamentals especially for beginners so that you don't just forget it a few days later. As a CS graduate I still learn a lot for Mr. Hitesh, he does a great job detailing the importance of each concept how you will use such topics in the real world.

when using getElemenetById or getElemenetByClassName, don't use the "#" or "." Just use the tag or class name

@@sethfrady9334 getElemenetByClassName only works with HTML Attribute style='xxx' not id='xxx' .. so be sure selecting only classes when using getElemenetByClassName not ids or other attributes

@@biswajitdasyt I figured it out after reading up on MDN. I needed to put the array index like this, (getElementsByClassName("counter")[0];) so that it could locate the element needed to run the counter.
