Never have commented before but had to say what a pleasure it was to watch and listen to this beautiful person. She had so many inspiring words. I loved her vision and thoughtfulness of how she put it all together. So much love has gone into this little piece of heaven! I will be rewatching this episode over and over as there is just so much to see! Thank you for introducing us to her world! ☺️
I ove the design of not only the house but the barn and the extra apartment. But I especially admire this woman who has such a personality it makes me happy just watching her.
Best episode ever. I never comment around here but just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching this episode- the house, the owner and her life philosophy!
This is the best video I have seen from here. She is so lovely to not leave a message for her. Good ideas and vision on her home, beautiful eyes for beauty in life, beautiful heart and energy. A sense of purpose as well from what she does. Wish her hubby can be cleared from cancer and they can go for more adventures and life. Best of luck stranger!
This is by far one of the most inspiring pieces I have ever watched. The owner has such lovely energy and her home.... is breathtaking. Thank you. May you have many more beautiful years in your home, enjoying the chickens and bees. Ah❤ and the land... Love and light to the pretty owner lady and her family
'Humans are meant to move their bodies'. This statement is something I learned by my start in flipping land. My husband and I became the first people I know to buy 'junk' land and make it something useful and beautiful. I learned that by doing and moving my body, you can do anything and everything-thus creating beauty.
There aren’t enough words to express how inspiring this video was… the story, the home, the woman and the life lesson literally gave me chills and I found myself teary eyed at the end. I didn’t want the video to end! Please PLEASE feature this amazing lady and her journey more!
It's so funny how this episode has prompted people who normally don't comment to be moved to do so. I feel like your a soul sister and what an inspiring woman and a beautiful story you have. I was so moved when your partner told you to go ahead and do the renovation to help and feed you through the hard times ahead, you are truly blessed to have one each other. I will be watching this episode over and over again for energy and inspiration. Thank you for sharing.
Benj! Such great memories playing ball with you in Trinity Bellwoods! It's been great to follow your financial wisdom in the Globe & Mail. Glad to see The Contra is still going strong after all these years. Happy Holidays my friend.
Sister, you have knocked it out of the ballpark. Wonderful country property, thoughtful renovations and the property over the garage is genius. Lastly, your animal friends, the bees and especially the "girls" who have swank accommodations and a mom that loves them "right on"
What an amazing human being! Loved hearing her story and her sharing the ideas about the home. The house is really beautiful but made even more beautiful thanks to her. Thank you for this video.
This is my favorite episode by far. I just love her energy and how she was able to pivot from corporate life. So inspiring! I genuinely wish her and her family well.
How beautiful. My prayer & plans are to move to the country with my husband, cultivate the land, grow food and other organic projects to live in line with nature. Yeah, it can be more effort, but it'll help keep us both young, healthy and appreciative.
Wonderful to hear the story that goes with the renovation. Adds so much context and beauty in understanding what is behind people's decisions, design, and otherwise. Thank you for sharing such a special story. Inspirational!
Gosh I just love her energy! Her home is stunning. She has found her happy place along side nature and incorporated that into her way of life. Such a great episode.
We live about 45 min north of Mulmur. It was such a pleasure to hear your story. You have created a beautiful space. If you ever decide to consult I would love to pick your brain for design . We love this simple life, wood heat , forests to walk and lakes and rivers to kayak.
This home feels very familiar and comfortable to me. To the homeowner, thanks for sharing some of your journeys during the reno, and your beautiful home!!🙂
Not only a beautiful home but a very beautiful homeowner in soul as well as appearance. I loved everything about this content. Totally on board with Clara Marshall.
I love how everything she did was done with thought and intention. It really shows through out the house and her property. You can tell it's a happy place.
Love this tour because it reminds me of my parents/my childhood home. It’s a similar style and they also have a beautiful detached garage with loft. I’ve always loved the idea of multi generational living and that space makes it feasible.
OMG, my brother told me that, too...when growing up. also have good watch (rolex, cartier, etc...) and shoes (and handbag, too). Or for a man a belt. It's true...high low. great space, great eye for design...love her esthetic and vibe.
I think Debbie is the same age me, and she has really found a beautiful way to spend her life doing something she is passionate about. I am still trying to figure life out. Her home and land are both beautiful.
I’ve been following this channel for years and never comment, but this was too good of an episode not to say anything. While farmhouse isn’t my personal style, the thought that was put into every single detail of the home, barn, apartment and even the van is spectacular. What a beautiful space. It’s so warm and inviting just like it’s owner. I totally agree that we need to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. I’m going to take her advise about making as much money as I can in the city so I can move out into country later on.
I love this episode too much. The beauty of the house and the story you told about your house and your life does really enlighten and inspire me and my wife. All the best to you and your family. Big love from Vietnam.
Everything about this is beautiful! From the homeowner, to the home, to the extra living space above the garage, to the chickens, and love/respect for nature. What a wonderful place!
Such a fun, inspiring, amazing woman! The home she has created is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! I’m so moved by everything she had to say, including her thoughts on multi-generational living. I’ve saved this video to watch repeatedly, but actually, I will never forget it.
As an Israeli, totally straight interior designer, I’m in loooove with her! I want hang out w her and have some wine and then help her with chickens and design another unit to rent ….emodinment of awesomeness
