Kim is so beautiful and she looks amazing. My oldest sister just passed away from a heart attack at 54. She was morbidly obese. Her death is another wake-up call for me to remain vigilant about my health. 54 is too young to die.
Stop making excuses about lack of good foods in the hood. We can drive over a hr to bring Gucci and Prada back to our neighborhood but won't drive 20 minutes to trader Joe's for healthier choices.
@@cynthiaholland13 you don't need groceries multiple times! Maybe fat people or people living in a home with grandmom, pop pop, auntie, cousin and uncle. You see nothing but fat girls wearing all that expensive clothes. U can only buy it at expensive stores away from the hood. So stop making excuses. Go to the airport and see how many obese sistas walking with Gucci, Prada, Balenciaga etc.
@@cynthiaholland13 and I didn't say they drive there every few days for Gucci but those 500.00 Chanel slippers could have been alot of veggies and a entire year of a gym membership.
This is a prime example of the culture of "it's never my fault" and "zero personal responsibility". Your first point was black women tend to have higher levels of cortisol that causes weight gain. Assuming that is true, we know white women have higher rates of cortisol in their bodies than males of all races. Yet white women in the US have the lowest rates of obesity. Lack of access ? Gimme a break. There wasn't an obesity epidemic among black women in the 1960's and before. No one had a 12 pack of sodas in their fridge or a pantry full of honey buns and snack cakes. I'm old enough to remember when my town got it's first McDonald's. Today I can't even begin to count how many fast food restaurants are there. It's not the lack of access but rather the massively increased access to processed foods loaded with sugar and flour. This has affected every race and gender. I've lost 80 pounds since last year and now I'm at a perfectly healthy weight. I became fat because of the terrible terrible eating habits I had. Stop blaming everything else. It takes discipline and introspection to get healthy. It is you who chooses what you put in your body.
Accountability is a MASSIVE issue in our black community. I completely understand why black men in America date outside their race now like wow. When will our women take responsibility for ANYTHING??????
You're going to hate me for saying this but stop making excuses for being fat! Cut your carbohydrates by half, eat smaller portions, stop the secret eating, cut out sugar and bread. Walk everyday, It's that simple.
A courageous conversation... seriously 😂😂 Does it not get embarrassing sometimes being a victim and blaming everything on others. You don't need to look at racism and gender discrimination to loose weight, you need to stop looking in the fridge and cupboard's. And exercise....that will never change..ever !!
So what about all the Black Women that are not Stressed out and have no Racial discrimination problems and no mental Problems!. They just eat A lot Because they like to eat and are Greedy!.
@@cynthiaholland13 cut out this nonsense and take responsibility. African women don't have this issue and THEY are the original black women . Please stop making these excuses
It’s not rocket science but it certainly IS a science. It has been scientifically proven that eating less is ineffectual without considering menopause premenopausal and post menopausal HORMONES . these thing reek havocked on the metabolism. I Lost nearly 20 pounds by eating once a day and my weight loss plateaued for three months! It wasn’t until : 1. Learned WHAT to eat to combat hormonal influences 2. Practiced consistent STRESS management 3. Changed sleeping habits 4.Customized exercises to combat sluggish metabolism and to burn fat instead of muscle , that I actually was able to lose the remaining 15 pounds. I surely wish it was a cookie cutter way to weight loss but it NOT especially for WOMEN over 40. What YOU do every dam day as a MAN simply doesn’t work for women
