Do you see commercials when you watch RU-vid or have you PAID not to see them? Money moves behind the scenes even more than out in the open. I say this because one of the obstacles that will stop you from really benefitting from this course is taking things at face value or believing the first thing that you see is the whole truth. It never is.
@@marccohen4571 first question on the first lesson? The whole point of this video is to focus on the process (practice) and the results follow from practice. Practice should be the focus. Results orientation may work in business but it stifles personal growth which lies in PROCESS/PRACTICE. Everything is not like businesss, just like the human is not like a machine. The problems we see in the world today are the direct and indirect result of the prevailing type and level of thinking that's been forced on the entire world by the violence of western cultural homoginization. The world needs a paradigm shift and this course is a good start for westerners who are overly focused on results.

Carol i need to find peace internally .I have has so many downs and I don't want to give up on finding peace for my soul. Crying everyday and walking around like zombie with no joy is horrible. First I don't want to be on returning cycle to earth......Christ returns reveals the truth. . I will complete this course with practice. Thank you agape

Bless you Carol. You got it. Lenord Orr & Sondra Ray taught me about A COURSE IN MIRACLES . I think I have had about 15 copies of THE COURSE . Most just " disappeared " . I would always say but I put it right there. And then I would turn around it would be gone. I mean A Course in Miracles is not a small book how can it disappeared just like that?
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover how to attract abundance try Nadazma Instant Miracle Helper(should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.
In these hard times, we need people like Carol to stay calm and focus. I just received this book! I just read chapter 1 meaning of miracles. I also read lesson 1 and instantly looked at my pictures and thought. How can my pictures not mean anything. They are literally vivid moments of joy and happiness that my soul cherishes that just by looking at that I get to relive those moments again and again! And then It clicked. You mean to tell me there is something deeper then this that I don't understand. That I can experience something even more beautiful then the joy these pictures bring me? That if I can then I can go on to help other people who are hurting experience a type of joy too. Ok God, I am open. I did the exercise and excluded nothing. I could hear hear the ego voice simultaneously but am making I Am voice louder! Thank you for these videos! I'm so grateful for them as a friend or voice along side me to help!

My 40th year (Feb 1983 Whole Life Expo…. NYC) First time, took me 11 years (Feb 14, 1994… to be exact) I have gone through it many more times since then. All that time, I did ACIM on faith… never really got it, intellectually. But, Synchronicities… dreams coming true… voice calling out my name… “Supernatural” experiences were happening. Also… depression and fear slowly faded away…. Anyway, it is only this year that I am getting it… glad I stuck to it. Also…. This is the first time I am reaching out to videos for support. Thanks for doing all this…. ❤️💫🌹🙏My brain sure has been re-wired!!😁

I just bought a course in miracles to read/practise/study. Was feeling some overwhelm (a lesson everyday for a year?!) and where best to start. Text is challenging at times but stumbling across your tutorials is a blessing! Thank you, starting today. (I agree, there just has to be more to life than the constant struggle that mine has been for the most part )😞

What a sobering, matter of fact way to ground me into yet again doing ACIM. Like you I got introduced to the Course in the late 70's, and its been on again off again savoring the text but efforting to get thru a year of lessons. I had all the books and tapes from Marianne, Tara Singh, Alan Cohen, Gary Renard and KEN of course, and other lesser knowns. I even hosted meetings in my home and at my church for a whole year to try to adhere to the lesson format. Its such cogent beautiful work that you can feel the comfort and the awakening resonating in your depths and YES you want to understand it. And seeing the call outs unveiling the ego ways is exhilarating. I read the text for comfort, the first time I got high reading the text straight thru, in deep recognition of not only its Truth but its Humor! .... BUT all my life I have never been able to follow directions very well, not even taking vitamins or a place for my keys, I don't adhere to my own plans and resolutions! I don't believe there is any way I can practice the lessons with the frequency and format it requires and this past year 2022 was no different. BUT ... I no longer torture myself with put downs. I just pick up where I left off and keep going. Thank You Carol for the grounding and wake up calls every day that I apply and forget to apply. You are a priceless messenger and I am learning to humbly seek the guidance of Jesus and the HS. Without that I can't do Life, only with Jesus, David Hoffmeister, you, BK and other you tube teachers as we do this strange, magnificent curriculum. Blessings to Everyone and Everything Everywhere as we enter the NOW of 2023.

Funny! These lessons make total absolute sense to me and they resonate deeply with who I am! But then again maybe I regognize truth more than others in this moment
I feel the same way (this is second time around for me. First year I felt very differently). Now in the place of what I think and see is a vision and feeling of all encompassing love.
Note 1 for ACIM wb # 1 from A Course in Miracles Workbook for Dummies Notes to Lesson # 1 Nothing I see in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place] means anything. Note on lesson: Do this exercise and notice your reaction to this idea. Did certain items invoke different reactions? Was it easy or did some objects create a state of tension or disbelief? Just note your response and move on to the next item. Have fun with the experience and stop judging whether you are doing it right and getting the “right” answer. It is being and having the experience that we are after. Some students may find the notion that nothing you see means anything to be very upsetting. You see a picture of a loved one and emotions well up. How can that picture be meaningless? Yet, if someone else observed that same picture, they would have an entirely different reaction. The picture is the same, so why the different reaction? Why, because each observer has a different interrelationship with that picture in question. It is the observer’s own mind that gives the meaning to the picture, not the item itself. The world you observe is a world of perception, not one of physical reality. Perception requires the belief in separation. Perception implies both an observer and something to observe. This duality and separation is an underlying assumption with all things you see. If there was nothing outside yourself to observe, what would there be to see? When we realize this, we should recognize the fact that an item by itself means nothing unless you are there to observe it. Without your awareness of the item at hand, it would not appear on your radar screen. It is your mind that empowers the object with any meaning you give it. This is similar to the question, “If a tree falls and there is nothing to hear it, does not make a sound?” The answer is no. You need the interaction of the vibrating air current with an eardrum to make a sound. It is your interaction with your perceived world that gives an item meaning to you. A rock can have existed for millions of years but until you choose to place your conscious attention upon it and observe it, the million year old rock means nothing to you. It only becomes meaningful to you when you have developed some relationship with it. Question: Who is really in control over the meaning of what is observed? Question: In this world of private individual perception, is it the object or the observer that gives the object the meaning that the observer holds to be true? Question: Must both the object and the observer agree with whatever meaning each perceives to be true or can they differ?
Love Thomas's work too. I definitely recommend his A Course in Miracles for Dummies on Kindle. Between his text and Carol's videos, learning ACIM is much easier. Blessings.

Hello form Québec Carol, I just wanted to say thanks you to you and Eckhart Tolle., I was watching one of is video and he was describing an excercise that remind me of a sacred text someone gave me at least 25 years ago and which I landed to someone and never saw it again. I have been looking for this text since then , I remember doing the exercices ( that is all I had all 365) up to lesson 10 and it changed my life, it really works. Since I only had the exercices part , not knowing anything else existed, that is all I could apply which is the most important part, in my view.
Love these lessons! Carol's voice is perfect, and I love her style and how she explains the concepts. It has made all the difference in my understanding of ACIM. Thanks so much ❤️
It took me almost 2 years to hear the book and daily lessons.....in short, i believe it saved me. I do find myself now in a fork in the road with this mandate of vax.....i would truly appreciate your thoughts on it.
Presume that you do not understand, as long as you don't experience joy and peace. And understanding comes as a result of practice. I totally agree. One of the biggest hurdles is that people have this fixation with intellectual understanding. "I know!" or "I already knew that!" is the war-cry of failure. True understanding comes with one's whole Being, when everything sinks in and causes a shift in identity. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people (around 85% according to Dr David Hawkins) 'resides' in relative unconsciousness, spiritually speaking. Hmmm... inner world leads outer world. Listen inside, listen to your mindbody - when there is stillness, spaciousness... this is the feeling/state of joy and peace. I am on my way, consciously, every day. Still have my moments, can be triggered... I am human... but I am a human on the right path, now. Bless you, Carol, and thank you! And bless everyone on here as well as all of wo-mankind.
I tried to do this workbook many times but had a hard time. I seem to be able to do them with your guidance. In dreams everything that seems physical is part of the dream. Not sure why my tummy ties itself into a knot when I think a pencil I pick up doesn't mean anything, if my reality is another level of a kind of a dream.
