They’re trying to blame this on ice when they should be blaming this on human negligence. You build a dam in the Utah mountains, and don’t prepare for ice???

what was the original use of the dam? Was it for flood control or to provide a lake for recreation like the one above Johnstown PA?

Love the snarky comments. The original earthern dam doesn't seem to be the problem but rather the work done in the 1940s to increase its height.

Great little town, near national parts one should visit, and the lake has good fishing also, the town has great places to eat and nice mom and pop motels. Great places to ride the Harley best way in my book, May is a great month for it, get out of the heat of Nevada
