This is quickly becoming my favorite channel! I like trying everything I see from Knifemaking to woodworking and all crafts in between. So glad I found this channel; there is much to learn here.

Absolutely beautiful. People have no idea how much time, knowledge, tools, training, etc, goes into a craft/art like this. Well done.

It’s interesting the unique personalities when you dive into more eccentric craftsmanship. He does a great job of keeping the individuals talking when they go into their work mode.

This is amazing. My husband and I vended at a medieval fair in Brooks Alberta, Canada. We saw a lot of armor there. I wonder if this guy made some of that armor. The people who attended the fair came from all over the world... It was so much fun. Again this video was amazing thank you.

Fabricating a suit of armor should come easy to Eric. It’s a very similar skill set to a motorcycle builder who has to create gas tanks and fenders.

Very true. It's all about stretching and shrinking metal. Just different techniques.

So rather than beating the metal into a dished form, you directly stretch the metal by beating with a curved hammer against a flat surface. Neat!

If got some magnets it would make holding the template on so much easier.

@CraftsmansLegacy thank you but I cannot claim that as my own. But for those of you out there. They sell packs of flat magnets. They come in various diameter sizes. At places like harbor freight or Amazon. They are really handy. Especially on curved metal.
