This Action packed fishing video I’m fishing Guntersville Lake on the Tennessee River located in north Alabama. Lake Guntersville is loaded with fish and is one of the best lakes to fish in the country. The fishing bait and fishing technique I’m using is the most deadliest way to catch fish for fun or to put dinner on the table and you don’t have to be a experienced angler.
The fishing equipment I’m using is a Duckett rod and a Bass Pro Shop Johnny Morris spinning reel.

I bank/pier fish by myself majority of the time. I've had people ask me if I'd like to join them on their boat. It sound good and i really enjoy boat fishing. Being that i was always told not to get in a vehicle with strangers I always decline. And always will. Thanks Mr Rocky for showing me there's honest people on boats. Thanks gor sharing

Consider getting yourself a 20-30’ length of rope and a carabiner to attach to the front of your boat. This way you can push your boat off the trailer and you can pull it over to the dock. Saves from risking falling off your trailer and hurting yourself

I take my bow rope, one end to the cleat on the dock side, the other loosely tied to the trailer-jack. Slide her off, pull up so as not to get wet and collect the bow rope from the jack, tie her to the dock and go park. Ta-Da.

That was super cool of you to take him fishing. I used to come up there and fish the bridges until someone pulled a gun on me. I was one of Richard Gene's first subs back in the day. Did you know the sure way to tell the difference between spotted bass vs a regular large mouth is by simply feeling it’s tongue. A spot will have sandpaper tongue and a larg’e will be smooth.

Great video Rocky. Sharing is what it's all about and I'm sure you made another good friend. How can we get that cast net over 30ft shad without forward facing equipment. We have di,si but struggling with getting on shad. Thanks for fishing trip and sharing knowledge. God bless you and yours

Thanks Jesse I appreciate your comments It’s really hard to catch that bait that deep especially without a live scope. You gonna find those large concreted schools of bait and then you gonna time the fall of the net where it don’t miss them as it drop. The bigger the net the better. Mine is a 7ft net with 1/2 inch mass and with lead weights. The heavier the weights the better. It takes me a long time and a lot of casting sometimes to catch them.🎣🎣

I was using a no.2 Owner Mosquito hook (red) model 5177-093 I don’t use big hooks unless I’m fishing with real big baits. I appreciate you subscribing and thanks for your comment 🎣🎣

@@RockyDrakeOutdoors awesome, I use Owner myself and Gamakatsu and also prefer smaller hooks. If you're hooks are strong no need to have a big one to land a hawg and makes for easier penetration
