Jeff the things your doing are great. my loved one down there lost his battle down there on 6/26 after coming home from incarceration your videos have helped me find him in the past forever thankful for you❤
Jeff you are a shining star on so many levels. Your lived experience is and should be inspiring not only to the suffering on the streets but the people who govern! I was moved so much with your vloggs with Wendall I had to look more into what the hell is going on in your beautiful city, spent the weekend watching Kensington live cams and it blow my mind, watching such suffering and desperation of people just trying to survive, addicts robbing addicts, visible dealing with preying antics, police walking by nonchalantly has made my heart heavy. To all of you that are suffering in what seems like Hopelessness just look at Jeff, please. To those of you that mock the suffering just be aware that nobody chooses this path, hard luck can happen to us all quickly! to those that govern, I know your trying & making a difference but more needs to be done, please! Jeff I'm sending you the biggest love, remember yourself in this situation. Stay positive & safe. 🌟🤞💞🧚♀️🏴
Jeff, saving one is potentially saving many. The ripple effect of someone getting back to care for their children, or maybe even that person now helping other addicted folks has a huge ripple effect! Addicted parents often leads to major disruption and familial trauma...and addicted children. Saving one is saving many.
Jeff, I know you are not religious, neither am I, but If I were to ever describe what a guardian angel looked like... it would be you!! Kind, respectful and compassionate. The world needs more people like you, not only in the trenches helping those in need, also educating the public and re connectingthe lost. I have nothing but respect for you and your work. May you find peace in your mind.
As I've said before you do make a difference and even if you only save a few that's worth everything to them! Every life matters and they are all worth the effort even if they don't take the help at least you try ❤ I know it's hard to see people going through this and it takes a toll but know we are with you and stand by you all the way!
Great tour Jeff, thanks 🙏🏻 It’s like you never left Kensington. Here you are again, driving around, some yelling, some cursing, telling interesting stories and saving lives 🫶🏻🙌🏻 Hope you feel a little better regarding your depression 🍀 You certainly look and sound better. That’s really nice to see. Keep moving forward, stay positive and do whatever makes you happy 💚
Hi Jeff! I can relate to you and ur depression 💯. It's real, and I respect that you get out of the house in those times where u can barely brush ur teeth. I've been there, am there still from time to time. Thank you for all of your videos, but mainly, I thank u for the way you interview and interact with ppl. Respect and humility. Take care of yourself, and I look forward to seeing more content in the future.
Thank you for doing your videos. I was on the streets for many years on the Gold Coast in Australia. In a refuge for the past year now but struggle with the dreaded depression. Watching your videos helps relax my mind as I can relate to the people you interview, it's awesome that you give them a voice, and you care enough to be there for them.
Another awesome video, can almost feel how hot the weather is just watching it lol. So important what you're doing, opening our eyes to ordinary and extraordinary people and telling their stories in this crazy world
What I would propose to 'fix' Kensington is a few things. Put 50 social workers and nurses on the streets to interact with the homeless and Narcan people who've ODed. Also, greatly expand shelters and community housing. Also, set up at least 5 harm reduction and safe injection sites staffed 24/7 by nurses, and fund Savage Sisters so they have what they need. These things would cost money but would save so many lives. It's certainly better than locking people up for using in public and putting them through the courts.
preach info warrior. I know more about Philly than this damn town I reside in. I try and bring awareness to the best of my ability, homeless folks need compassion and concern. Appreciate u
@@Jeffshighonlife great - I'd like to help financially if there's a safe way of doing it. It looks like she's been thru Hell and back - and trying to recover - I know how hard it can be and understand her position. She's trying and that's why I think it's worth helping her.
This is a very small piece of what really happening in America and every city in town and it's not just drugs! Blessings to you Sir for these videos.🇺🇸❤️
Jeff I admire what you do. I can relate to you a lot I myself am coming up on 5 years clean and suffer from depression. I now work at an addiction recovery center and love your videos. I just want you to know that I admire what you’re doing and wish you were near Lancaster PA so we could meet up and go for coffee. If you’re ever up this way let me know.
Jess and Jim, Liz and Danielle... Don't forget that Julian was close to death. He's been trying ever since you helped him. Do you think he forgets about you? Even Amber too. You made them feel important again. That is worth more then gold, Jeff. ❤
Saludos Jeff, i just found out about you yesterday watching a Wendall video. Im in the same boat as you, 14 years sober (glad i didnt get to experience the fentanyl epidemic), im 43 years old, born and raised in San Juan, PR. Saw a video that you came to the island, hope you enjoyed yourself over here. Im catching up on some of your videos, keep doing what you're doing cause that humanitarian work helps the active addict but it helps you too. You got a friend here bro. All the best. Joseph.
Hey Joseph thanks for watching. Wendall is a great guy. And let me tell you how much I loved your homeland. It was the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.
Thanks for uploading ...... only 72F here today, I had the heating on earlier, interesting area. I'm taking meds for depression but low dosage for years, it happens to me after stress. I hope yours lifts.
Lookin great Jeff. Can't save everybody Jeff... but you've definitely saved lives (Jess for sure)!!! There's no greater achievement in life. Be Proud of what you have done! Not many people can do what you do. Too bad you're not religious, you've already earned a free pass to Heaven :)
Glad to see you out and about Jeff ❤ your a good sweet guy I hope your taking care of yourself the way your always trying to help other's make sure your always taking as much time as you need for yourself I've always found you to be amazing depression is not to be fooled with much love and thinking of you always
That was great Jeff, stop staring! Lol reminded me of the movie coming to America where Hakeem goes out in the hood in the morning and yells, “good morning my neighbors” someone yells back to him “F YOU” hahaha. I also liked the Jersey “your mutha!”
Excellent Jeff!!! Looks like you’re back on the upswing!!! I’ve carried narcan for years. Then I put together a full first aid/trauma kit. Even chest seals. If I can help anyone, I’m set.
HI, 😊. How are you, it's good to see your great work and making a difference in Philadelphia. Yes I see a big difference from a few years ago. I would like to invite you to visit the next town over, Delaware and perhaps we can meet about helping people in Delaware because it doesn't seem like they care or any rescue. I'm not enjoying the situation of the unfortunate drug problem.
Hi my friend...thanks for sharing. Glad you had water and supplies in my backseat. (That's I'm sure I mention from time to time where I feel like I'm sitting when u drive around..lol) Xoxo
Just followed you because of Wendell, fascinating content, thank you for doing what you do…I messaged Bald & Bankrupt with a link to your piece in the last Wendell vlog
I always ask about Amber too. I feel she's a lost cause and can't be helped. She wants to be on the streets of Kensington. I still worry if she's okay because she was one of the first people to give a face to Kensington. I doubt if she's in treatment.
yo were you in a sober house in Levittown? you look so familiar man lol. either way congrats on your sobriety journey. one day at a time stay strong bro💯
When will you be posting all the content from your trip? Isn’t that why you’re subscribers sent you money to see the drug crisis over there and can’t wait to see all the interviews you did on your trip dealing with Tranq Lol….
We are all works in progress. I spent 4 hours in K'ton last week and was sad, pissed, disgusted and depressed. It took me days to come off of the tiny bit of energy I absorbed taking a buddy to rehab. Im not a bleeding heart, but Jeff is doing his best. Its like pissing in the ocean. Kensington is a monster. I pray for Jeff. I think the adrenaline rush of trying to help people may dull his depression in that moment. We all have our catalysts that push us to want to help. He has been to the dark side.
Oh, and I was scared! Terrified really. A woman was shot just sitting in her home last week. And a police officer is still in critical condition. The violence, especially among teenagers is truly terrifying. The fact Jeff even subjects himself to this is beyond me really. I am a "Philly" girl in my mind...but Kensington is nothing like I have ever experienced. Its truly 3rd world bullshi$.
